Sure. You can google search on the courses you wish to take online, there you get certified. Like mine, I did google digital skills for africa online and I have my certificate on my mail. This course is applicable to gmail users. Once, you have a Gmail account, you can start right away. But it takes time and much data to finish the course.

With the certificate, can you apply for work with it aside the bsc

Nope. The online cert with the bsc go hand-in-hand. So, as a graduate, you will be asked to present your school cert and the skilled you had to get qualified for a certain job.
