Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has met First Lady Aisha Buhari in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, on his pilgrimage for Hajj.

Gbajabiamila shared pictures of their meeting on Twitter on Friday, Igbere TV reports.

“With the First Lady @aishambuhari in Mecca. May Allah answer our prayers for unity peace and progress for our beloved country,” he said.

Millions of Muslim faithful from around the world are gathered at the Holy Land for this year’s Hajj.

Senate President Ahmad Lawan is also in Saudi Arabia.

Other federal lawmakers at the Holy Land include Senator Teslim Folarin, Senator Ajibola Basiru, Senator Sani Musa, and Senator Bello Mandiya among others.
