Bro, don't be so quick to pronounce names on people until you understand them. I didn't insult you in any way, did I?

What I meant was that it's not by cutting ties with them that Xenophobia will be solved, but if our economy is better than it currently is then our people could return home to a better living the we could say a good bye to them and take whatever decisive action against SA.
The question is, is Nigeria ripe to cut off ties or make good threats against SA?
Please don't imagine that you have monopoly of insulting language. I'm still being polite
If you are mature enough to discuss issues without using insulting language, pls let this pass.

Thank you
thumbs up dude! The problem with some of our lazy youths is reading and "understanding". Ur write-up is the best fit for this "ailing" nation yet what our leaders do is line thier pockets with looted funds. Corruption has beclouded our sense of reasoning.

Don't deceive your self bro, the number of SA citizens living in Nigeria is quite neglible compared to the Nigerian citizens in SA. There are many Nigerians living and doing legitimate jobs in SA, some are into various businesses, some drugs businesses and etc.

If you do a Swot analysis between the two countries, and cut ties Nigeria will loose.
You think they don't have these facts? That's basically why the government of SA don't really care about how Xenophobia affects Nigerians in SA.

What Nigeria needs is strategic plan, and to boost their internal socio-economic welfare, etc.

Nigeria don't love itself or care for its citizens so how do expect other countries to regard its citizens?
Look at how even Ghana that use to eat Crumbs in Nigeria is now treating Nigerians now.

Well, from my own analysis South Africa will lose compared to Nigeria if they cut economic ties because firstly, bulk of South African economic ties are cooperate businesses like stanbic ibtc and multinational firms like shop rite, mtn dstv, gotv and more generating hundreds and billions of dollars yearly while Nigerian business in SA are basically on the individual scale which are basically small medium enterprise. The cash generated by Nigerians in sa can in no way be compared to the cash generated by sa in Nigeria and it's a fact.

President Ramaphosa speedy scheduled visit to Nigeria is a testimony after nans sealed otta shoprite. South Africans lose more!

They should meet quickly before NANS scatter everything.. I read they shut down shop rite at Ota yesterday

The same NANS that was settled with cash and left after 4 hours of protest. Same way they've been settled with cash in Enugu, Abeokuta and everywhere other location where protest has taken place.

If you think NANS is protesting xenophobia and not after monetary gains then you're mistaken.

The South African economy is much more diverse. The businesses you mentioned, their input I don't think amounts to even 1% of our GDP. You're not even a major key player, so sharrrap there abeg grin Always overstating your importance.

Lol, u think other countries don't read news on how Nigerians are slaughtering their fellow Nigerians? These countries don't respect us becus they know we are totally unorganized, with poor infrastructure. It is simple, u stop traveling to SA.

But we can't stop because our own country is a mess. Lol. They know na. How many south Africans do u see struggling to come here? Those that are here are part of multi-national firms doing legit business and helping our economy.

Nigeria does not even have a cable network to challenge multi choice. We can't do without super sport sef. Lol.

My brother, if u don't fix ur house, no one will fix it for u.

If u need respect, Nigerian leaders must respect her citizens first.
No be for this country some people call others immigrants? Abi u think south Africans don't read our posts on nairaland to see how much we hate our selves?

Hahahaha, Nigeria is the funniest country ever. And we actually want other countries to accept crime like we have accepted here. Too bad.

The funniest thing is, Nigerians living in South Africa don't seem to have an issue with South Africa or South Africans. It's always the ones in Bayelsa somewhere with the loudest bagpipes.

That is why the ones in SA don't ever wish to return. Give them free flight, majority will still not return. This country called nigeria has many mentally lazy youths who don't understand how international events happen. They are just like sheep, first to comment sickness Dey worry my people here.

Don't those businesses create jobs in your country? They're run by robots?
Besides, Dstv etc make more money here at home than anywhere else. It'll be no loss to us if you decide to give them the boot.
