Jesus commanded us to continue to give HOPE even when we know things are bad.

That's what Pastor Adeboye did and will continue to do.

I am in Nigeria. The thing is you need to be sincere, if you are not they will definitely attend to others who are sincere and urgently need help. I do not know the church you attend though, I am only commenting based on what I have seen in my own church. Thank you
So how do you measure who is genuine/sincere?
All Pentecostal churches have this in common, even in RCCG, as common as education is important to national development, 80% of stress in Nigeria is from school runs, yet most of the church's schools are beyond the reach of the common members, if the churches want to impact/giving back to the society, their shoools should be affordable and I don't need to go beg them for school fees when my church have a school that I am contributing to.
You create more problems because you can not attend to all the needs of the people coming for help.

Afonja will always be afonja. Did pastor Adeboye think Nigeria won't come out strong when Goodluck Jonathan was the president? He encouraged 1 million members of his church for a peaceful protest against Goodluck but has been hailing Buhari even though the country has collapsed under his watch. May God forgive you.

You might as well move over to China if you are so critical of your home country. Nigeria is moving at a pace agreed upon by both the leaders and the followers. Or you don’t see the reflection of our leaders on the average Nigerian?

fabianiyobosa:
Forget all these talks jare. Imagine someone like Adeboye who is a Professor in Mathematics sit back and remain docile instead of putting his knowledge into use in relevant ministries or corporations.

He is part of the problem we have in this country. Qualified people leaving the most critical and important posts for people who do not have business being there.

I am currently in China for training sponsored by my company, and men these people are living in Nigeria’s year 3019. Abeg I nor wan talk.

I bow for their work culture, 12 noon everybody is on 2hours break, come back and start work again. I counted close to 10 Tesla’s. Clean roads and cars. No smoke, skyscrapers, unbeatable railway, I entered speed train for the first time going at 300km/h with neat cabin.

Check the second pic very well, you will see a bike and at the back of the bike is a QR code. Simple, if you want to take a ride, scan the code, pay 50 naira Max then drive and park anywhere for another person to scan and drive again. In fact just dump it anywhere.

I shock these people hardly carry cash, anything they want to buy or pay for, it is directly from their phone. For Naija if person wan make video call you had better be in a place with good reception, but in this place, in fact anywhere inside train o just anywhere the network full ground. It is really unfortunate and Adeboye is recycling the same thing he said last year in fact he has nothing to preach about.

Abeg make Adeboye rest with him lazy eyes.

Most definitely!

When God's plan for this nation starts taking shape, many would begin to understand why all these are happening.

It's similar to the birth pangs a woman experiences before delivery.

A new Nigeria is about to be born.

God bless Nigeria
Keep deceiving yourself.

the question is not what God accepts the question is tithe a pre requisite for going to heaven. To your question, yes God does accept tithe. The man was simply wrong for saying people who do not pay tithe will go to hell
If God accepts tithe, then give to God What belongs to God.

Why should I have issues with Pentecostal churches, is it that you don't understand the point I made?
You can not hide the truth no matter what, the insecurity and so many problems in Nigeria today are due to ignorant of the people, you keep doing the wrong things/supporting evil and later look for who blame. Majority of your types are blaming politicians/Buhari but see yourselves/pastoprenours as saint grin grin grin

1 Timothy 6:10 King James Version (KJV)

10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Majority of the churches today are not after soul winning but after members, the more the members the more the cash, that is why moral discipline is no longer in the churches of today, everything is about money, irrespective of how you get it, competitions, covetousness is what you see today, they rather build 1000000 capacity Church with the members money even when over 70% of the members are hungry/poor.

Nigeria is what it is because of people like you and I who are so relaxed. But the difference between you and I is that I at least admit that we are heading nowhere with these crop of leaders.

What point did you raised? Your comments was based on the church not helping those that needed help, that instead they tell them to go and pray. I told you to meet your church leaders and not individuals. I see you were already diverting to the talk of the church having a school that some members cannot afford to send their children to, and how you've been supporting the school( I don't know how you have been supporting the school though...) Then you said I am supporting evil. The fact that my comments were not right with you does not mean i am wrong. FYI, I voted for Buhari, because a lot of people around me have nothing good to say about Atiku. I would have love to vote that AAC guy but i know he wont win because we Nigerians are not ready for change. Why should I blame politicians for my woes when there is none. I am not someone you can brainwash, the fact that I supported my pastor and the church means I know the truth. I am not those that beg them for money online and because they didn't reply me online then I decided to throw jabs on nairaland.

Even God himself has given up on that country call Nigeria, With all the Churches and Mosques we have in that place and praying for the same thing fridays, sundays, and wednesday not to talk of Nasfat. I always wonder why instead of progress since 1960 all we have been able to achieved is the opposite. Then it came to me God ain't listening or God has given up on that country.
