These donot reflect the present position of infrastructure in Abia state as a number of these claims reflect work done over past administrations. Thise secretariat and government house structures for instance were projects initaited during the TA Orji regime and are at various stages of abandonment and use. The general consensus in Abia is that infrastructure is in very poor shape and various works presently undertaken are moving at a very slow pace. It appears the government is struggling with funding/revenue issues. Why this is has its roots deep in past administrations but the present one doesn't appear to be able to find a viable solution and is bent on hiding the true state of the State's finances. 10 Likes |
