Yeah. I think the mistake I made was not me clarifying that it's at anfield I would want such tactics. To be sincere bro, anfield na different ball game. Those guys are normally "mad" when they're at home, forget our game at Emirates or first goal Niles scored. Tbh, when Niles scored, I wasn't so happy cos I don't want to be so disappointed. I was just praying for a draw that day. Tho I didn't expect such thrashing tho. Come to think of it, those guys haven't lost a game since ages at anfield. I think the last game they lost there was against Burnley 0-2 (might be wrong tho). Even man city with Guardiola, A whole guardiola o, went there with a conservative mindset a almost came out with a win b4 killing them off at etihad. Also I feel it might be too early to meet them(if it's at anfield) for our signings to actually gel, but if it's Emirates, then I can be optimistic for a win.

So if it's at Emirates, fine, I'm hoping for a win, but if it's at anfield, I believe we should just play conservative.

Hmmm, This line up is good on paper but I'm doubting it at Anfield,
Auba isn't the defending type, that LW will be run ragged by Anold and Sallah, Monreal won't be protected,

Xhaka torreira suffered at Anfield last time, Xhaka has no pace and will lose the ball much when put under pressure, Torreira gets tired around 70mint,

But if they can slow the ball down and possess the ball for long, that'll be fine..Ozil,ceballos shouldn't contest running with them, just hold it, pass it simple and slow, then set up our pacy forwards on the counter..

exactly if they can get ball in midfield they become disorganize, you see VVD loading ball to sallah or mane, Robertson and Arnold becomes useless

The 3 men in the middle will determine a lot about the game, if they can shield,posses and look for forwards on the counter.
I think Auba is fast,direct and knows what to do from the CF or RW position than left..He'll either have to cut and shoot or Cross for Laca/pepe who can score headers well.

. We have Liverpool and Tottenham after tomorrow's game so the coach might want to bed in the new signings quickly and improve our overall passing which starts from the back. Yes, it is good to reward good performances but just because Willock did fine against Newcastle doesn't it mean that If Ozil is ready tomorrow, Willock should start. It doesn't work like that except if the kid is incredibly talented and that's not the case with Chambers. There are many games this season and he will start most of the cup competitions and the premier league pending injury.

.... Rene won't be the player he is now if he stayed back at Arsenal. He wouldn't have gotten the minutes he had last season if he was here. That's the problem with youngsters. Chelsea have no choice but to use them because of the ban. As a club, we have been through this journey before and it didn't turn out well for us. Yes, it produced talented players like Ox, Wilshere, Gibbs and the king of them all - Fabregas but at what cost? A lot of them turned to shit despite the time given to them and we won nothing with them and got little in terms of monetary value. The idea that the young players will come good made us make nothing out of them, this thought softened the blow of losing Iwobi.

... Now, we sell the kids, if they come good and become world beaters, it's all good. They get sold and we get millions from sell-on clauses or we realize quickly that they might not be world beaters at least with us and get sold for good prices just like the case with Iwobi and that polish defender we sold to Derby.
