I am posting this for a neighbour of mine who is a nursing mother.

She told me she is supposed to report to camp from next week tuesday. She has a baby that will be one year old by next month.She wants to redeploy to her state of residence how can she do it.

Is there anyone here who was in such a situation or knows someome in such a situation that successfully redeployed?

It's possible but not always an easy and palatable experience, especially serving with a baby. My course mate in that situation ended up staying after all efforts towards her redeployment proved abortive. After all, it's just a year prog. She should have deferred the scheme to allow her baby grow before joining...my opinion.

What are the general rules or condition for redeployment?
