I hope Yoruba can shut the doors on people who are still hoping to come and take your jobs after keeping the ones in their regions to themselves. These people still count on Yoruba's stupidity to help them take Yoruba's jobs when they don't give others jobs in their regions. All they are saying here is to gaslight you but don't fall for it. You have to be strong to push back for the sake of your future. Go to any country in the world. The owners of the land are the ones with the highest priorities, with the foreigners considered for the lowest jobs no matter their qualifications except you first go through their education system and will still work twice as hard after falling in second to the native who is considered first for the positions. It's not racism or tribalism, it's protecting your interests. All the comments here are asking you what they can't give you in their own regions, wise up! Advocate and block non-Yoruba from getting jobs in Yorubaland (except of course cleaning your desk) stop letting people count on being able to walk over you and getting what they want without even trying, so you can be respected too! Yoruba, you are already at the disadvantaged as far as being accommodating and tolerant concerned, stop being preyed on! |

You must be the only content in that load of horseshit you just spewed to not know that Yoruba groups from Ondo to Itshekiri (not to mention Lagos and Ogun) are the highest contributors to the oil companies you are talking about. Ask yourself why your tribe is among those holding on to Nigeria, it's because you know that Yorubaland will leave you all of you and your unproductive barren regions behind like it was before we first moved in to save you, leaving Yorubaland to enjoy all its resources you are all sharing from at the moment. wowcatty:shut ur trap with ur empty head with no brain does d south look like those who are holding on to one Nigeria u lack sense n try to get some cos u are d only one who has been fighting everyone on dis tread cos u actually don't anytl thing upstairs does Lagos produce oil or what do Lagos actually contribute to d so called oil u said it's producing? Lagos is enjoying highest revenue due to location of d port, a former capital of Nigeria n its many historical factors as compared o d other states d only states in Yoruba land with much industries is Ogun state if u so believe in Lagos let d companies move their head office to areas they operate, let d Lagos port be decongested by making Warri, port Harcourt n Calabar port to operate full capacity den let's see what remains of Lagos n ur ondo u are just one dullard with no facts upstairs what is d contribution of ondo state to crude oil production in Nigeria where are d oil wells located try get sense If u so believe Yoruba land can be on its own den let d south go so d west can b on their own if u lack fact that she Google or any search engine n stop spewing trash for quotes n likes get a life u even claimed itsekiri is part of Yoruba, just shows ur level of thinking, there are ijaws in part of ondo n Ogun state, Edo n Delta n sat doesn't make dem Yoruba. d itsekiri u speak of have just two LGA in Delta just shut up n get a life. |

You are not Yoruba and not qualified to speak on this issue! Both Ogun and Lagos are one and the same, no boundaries created by the colonialists and the fulani dictators will change that. Ijebuland starts from the tip of Ondo to the Lekki, VI & Ikoyi to the lagoons and the Atlantic. One Yorubaland and one people. Yoruba jobs stay in the hands of Yoruba especially the very locals, go and hang! tollyboy5: |

You dumb nomadic culture won't save you. Instead for you freeloading dogshits to hold your leaders to account by making them creat jobs for you, you are here arguing your soul off just to take from others. This is the problem with Nigeria, your region wants to live off of Yoruba And blind to the fact that Nigeria can only survive when every region look6inward and generates it's own wealth and not all be in queue to take from another and forming a giant welfare economy as igbos and fulani want and depend on. Foolish drifters, I know this is too big for you but try it out, when you leaders start to create jobs for you, there won't be any need for you to come and take from others. Yorubaland shouldn't be responsible for igbos jobs, your leaders should be. BlueAir: |
Iddiot, creating your jobs and keeping it to yourself should be the standard if not for you useless parasite that are always looking to latch onto Yoruba for survival. The world is a better place when everyone pays his/her bill Lagos doesn't need any allocation, it has been a trojan horse for Yoruba especially Lagos. You had your chance during the last national conference to ask for regional govt like Yoruba did but you didn't cos you want to keep getting free money from Yorubaland. If you support regional govt, it's just a step from secession and you will be in charge of your resources, that is how Croatia and Serbia found it easy to be free countries today. Ask yourself and your leaders how you could pass on that if you truly can survive on your own. The thought of not wanting to leave Yoruba alone is what is holding you captive in Nigeria. You will be free the moment you release Yoruba from your hearts and minds. What about every region bring something to the table or simply generates money and jobs and keep it among yourselves if you are not hopelessly dependent on Yorubaland for survival? God has given every region something but you'd rather be lurking and hoping to see what you can steal from Yorubaland and in the process breathing and dreaming Yoruba like a dessert stalker. Keep deceiving yourself, there are no other indigenous people other than Yoruba in Ondo and any part of Yorubaland, it's just that Yoruba have been too nice to accommodate everyone so much so that even you igbos who have no boundaries with Yoruba can claim Lagos. Even the Portuguese and English in all their glory couldn't claim the beautiful land of Yoruba. In due time everything shall be sorted., let's get regional govt first. [/quote goat get a life cos u are one frustrated idiot with cheap data disturbing d whole of nairaland likes goat on heat oloriburuku oponu get a life n try to get an education or shut up ode am not igbo n am a bonafide son of Delta state not an slowpoke like u who has no moral standing in d society like I have asked u what does Lagos contribute to oil production if u can answer dat shut up n get a life stop fooling ursef |

Argh! I can feel your pain, a basin of Akpu should make you feel better. Dumb piglet! Lagos and Ogun (these are just two Yoruba states out of 6) alone contribute 60% of the total GDP of Nigeria according to the Minister of finance, but I believe it's more than that, now tell us what you contribute and why you don't want to be on your own and show the world what you are capable of? Leeches like you who should never be heard from are speaking, Nigeria is indeed a shithell! Another national conference will give you a chance to make yourself heard again, Yoruba will still go back with the same regional govt and decentralization request once again, what will you be aski for this time? Additional state as usual or something to set you free? Remember, awuf is awful and IFA NFA NI LAPO YA = AWUF TEAR POCKETS!

|

Dumdum, why does it matter where you are from as long as I'm over the target and it's directed at you? Keep deceiving yourself, you want to die in Yorubaland for all the same reasons you are refusing to accept. If you can take care of youselves and not depend on money from Yorubaland, why are you always against the opportunity that can make every region spend its money without sharing? Why are you afraid of generating and spending money made from your region without the input from Yorubaland? IFNOTGOD: |

wowcatty:you have a myopic thinking. I do not blame you but it is because the foundation is weak making you reason this way. Travel to the western nation and you will see that there is not so much stress on your state of origin but your nationality. It is people like your thinking that makes Nigeria backwards.. if for example such job demands technical know how and the people of Ogun or yorubas dont have that technicality, won't it be right you outsource other Nigerians in other state but NO your stupidity states that it must be ogun or none... Chale, I don travel far and beyond and I know for a fact that what we term "state of origin " is not the right thing but embrace the nationality as a whole. |
