I was stopped inward dolphin estate (just after exiting the 3rd mainland bridge) and while showing my papers we (i and the FRSC men) saw a pure water truck reversing on the bridge lol.

If your papers complete dem no fit worry you jare right now my papers are expired and I’ll only renew them at months end (cos I’m tryna sell the car). Police stopped me saw it was expired I didn’t argue gave them N200 and moved.

The media and so called bloggers only see the side they want u to see. I am an official and the capital punishment for bribe taking in the corps is dismissal. Drivers are very stubborn and refuse to obey traffic rules. Guys, i have been on patrol here in abuja we snapped one elderly man using phone we stopped him and he denied and tried to fight us. He later calmed down when we told him we caught him on our phones using a phone while driving. I prefer we wait to hear the full story on this after investigation than jump into conclusion. And yes, we deserve guns, our lives are now in danger performing duties of saving lives. Officials on patrols are being knocked down because drivers dont want to stop for verification of their licenses.

The day I hate seeing this guys most is Sunday.

Imagine, on your way to church, someone stop you and begin to demand for irrelevant documents that could be ask another day.

One day, they will cause religion revolution on their office.

You dont see them on Fridays during prayer time stopping cars for papers, but Sunday morning you will see them stopping a family car with occupants going to church. It pains me alot

First off , u guys are meant to arrest vehicles and not humans, so u have no business with passengers, try that with me, u will tell me weda una job na to beat or arrest passengers, when ever they are in uniform, they think they are god

It is very easy to stay in on corner and reach a hasty conclusion. In first place why is the driver not ready to stop ?why did he refuse the officer in question to enter the vehicle, thats because he wants to avade arrest which in itself is a crime. The officer may have been temperamental but the driver has a lot of question to answer.

Manner of approach is important, I’ve observed them “demanding payment” from Keke napeps at that new Ajah bridge (jubilee bridge) but guess what? The keke guys break all known traffic laws and I believe these “donations” are to ensure the cops keep looking the other way lol same with drivers.
