tuniski:

The choice only becomes the nigerians' after the parties have chosen candidates. Democracy is equally rotation, it is whatever works in a clime. Had it been just number, southern Nigeria as a whole will perennially struggle to be president to no avail!
The choice of party members. A party that feels appreciated by Igbos would give them the candidacy. A party that feels otherwise can do whatever it wants.
There is no rotation in democracy, either have sense or get used to trash.
No emotional rants about being hated when all you do is call people unprintable names everyday.

this is why i stopped insulting ipob i know the moment any body comments on any statement on Nairaland and is pro igbo u term him ipob.

i am one of the most detribalized persons on this Nairaland, yorubas too have been bitter but they choose to be bitter towards igbos just because they see us as rivals, despite the fact that we have never engage them in any form of physical confrontation yet they are just bitter yet we dont term them bitter.

I dont understand what u mean by people who accomodate u, when they dont get same treatment from u cause i will like u toexplain to me what u mean?

Yorubas are not bitter about Igbos.
How many times have you seen Yoruba made comments about governance at in SE? Check SE threads about Abia owing salaries, it won't reach 6 pages. Check Osun thread about same, it would reach 80 and see the major comments, from Igbos.
Is Igboland an eldorado?
That tells you a lot.
They are fixated on Yorubas who don't even know they exist

Look deep, and you will thank those who employ people from far states that their neighbouring states don't employ.

the highest thing the most bitter igbo in nairaland has ever done is insult people, even Fulani herdsmen Nnamdi kanu with all his hate has never called for there extermination.

but yorubas, that we have never had any form of physical fight before will be wishing us death, but trying to appease northerners who fight them everywhere even in there own land.

Jimasun tell me who is the bitter one here

example how people would come all the way from another region and dominate the oil sector of another region, yet those people are not complaining but the other people are complaining that another person got a low level position in there region?

if igbos cant be president in 2023 then there's no need for zoning

APC is aware PDP may win if they present a S/W candidate and they don't want to take a chance. For the north there confidence is in their biting strength.

l forsee North and South East ticket.

Someone please help me, Sheu Sani said those complimentary stuffs about Igbos; not Gandollar.
Gandollar was just being an ass playing tribal politics.

Am I having comprehension issues or everyone else is?

Apc is worse than Pdp with their lack of responsibility and sensitivity to diversity of this country. I hope Pdp come back because they seem to recognize the diversity of Nigerians and apply it to government. Hence less division during their administrations.

Why is Apc so stupid like this?

Define democracy...
Nobody is stopping Igbos from ruling Nigeria.
They have the right to contest, the rest is left to Nigerians.
If you want the vote of someone, talk to him, let him know how your candidature would benefit.
Convince people that vote and you get it.

There is no compulsion in politics.
Majority carry the vote.
Learn how to play politics
Stop being ungrateful to people who accommodates you even when they don't get same treatment from you.
I hope you people grow above bitterness

so with your ignorance you forget voting behaviour of majority of northerners plus that they are the ones with a political advantage when it comes to voting

NaijaRoyalty:
The North are clearly saying "NO" to Tinubu in 2023.

Actually, they are saying NO to igbo presidency. Because, by zoning formula, yorubas were the first beneficiaries of zoning through OBJ. Do you think it was election that brought OBJ to power in 1999? It was SELECTION, no ELECTION. The hausas have been a beneficiary of zoning formula too, which brought Yaradua to power, and which restored power to the North after GEJ (an unexpected case). Only igbos are yet to enjoy zoning formula, and now they are saying Zoning is not realistic anymore. So who do you think they are referring to? Read between the lines. It is very clear the North power cabal will never support igbo presidency

Nigerians that term Igbos hateful and agent of division based on the activities carried out by ipob, should know that by now we Igbos are the biggest victims.

What they need is serious rehabilitation and reorientation, some of them the main reason for there actions is misinformation, especially based on the events of the Biafran war.

To a lot of us who dont know they think northerners just woke up one day and started killing igbos then Ojukwu declared a Biafran republic to save them, then Nigeria comes in and commited genocide as an excuse to the war.

90percent dont know that there was a first unprovoked and bloody coup which igbos should take a big blame for then move on that lead to all other things.

That is the major thing fueling hate in the mind of ipob members plus all those pictures of starving women and children thats filled all over the net.

AN IGBO LEADER NEEDS TO STEP UP AND ADDRESS ALL THESE THINGS CAUSE THATS WHAT NNAMDI KANU IS USING AS A LEVERAGE TO GATHER SUPPORT TO CONTINUE DOING RUBBISH

Northerners seem to speak in one voice. El Rufai said zoning won’t work and now Ganduje is saying the same, come 2023, a northerner will emerge as President.

What does the APC Party Constitution say about zoning? Personal opinion is subordinate to the party constitution, or is there none?
Re: 2023: Why Zoning May Not Work In APC – Ganduje by MyGeneration(m): 9:11am On Aug 21, 2019
Even if Nigerians are skeptical of our motive for Presidency, i suggest they give the post to an Igbo man they will be comfortable with, either Rochas since the north seems to be comfortable with him or Joe Igbokwe since the West seems to be comfortable with him.

This i repeat will heal alot.

But if SouthEast presidency is still not feasible i nominate Chuibuike Rotimi Amaechi from the southsouth for the position

There is rotation in democracy! Stop the narrowness. Democracy only feeds into the prevailing sentiments/emotions. Or you think parties just like fielding a religiously balanced and sectionally tickets?

If these northerns have a field day by relecting themselves the biggest looser would be Tinubu not anybody else cos you made a political merger that set Nigeria 20years backward.

Both The Igbos and Yoruba need a united front we have out own shortcomings yes, but if we are united we can do almost anything.

Our founding fathers who established zonning foresaw that in other for everyone to have an equal representation at the center power must be rotated.

Buhari is currently using Yaradua's slot, and its best he uses it and handsover peacefully.

After Buhari in the entire north, the next person in popularity is Atiku, if i were him instead if wasting billions pursuing court cases, this should be the tine for him to be penetrating Apc strong holds.

Tinubu has no influence in Kano, Kaduna or Katsina.

As far as Kwankwaso still dae and there's no Buhari in the ballot Pdp will win Kano in the next election.

Look at Joe Igbokwe u cant imagine what he will be going through just to impress them, he even ostracized himself from the igbo race, yet the moment he was given appointment as Special Adviser of waste and water they started jubilating calling him Ipob saying he deserves it, i see nothing wrong with the position but why are they trying to tribalize it...lol see this mumu people

Igbos are the ones that mocked igbokwe so don’t try to twist it as usual as everyone knows your stock in trade. Go to Twitter and see the people abusing him.

True, Atiku pulled up some strong numbers during the last election even with state governors doing lowkey rigging adding +1

I dont really care who climbs the highest office come 2023 but he or she must be good in managing money, because with our debt standing at $81bn we are gonna need experienced hands to sail through.
