@ Fkhalifa my view has been detailed in my last post. If u still don’t get the angle I’m coming from then I’m done. I’m not talking money neither am I talking goal difference. This was same excuse yall gave last season for our abysmal play ranging from top four is not priority to Europa is the priority till we ended up with nada and qualified for another Europa league. |

kokaneprodigy:He wants to play from the back and use 4 3 3, with this, check top teams using this tactics, 80% of their goals and assists come from the front 3 and the Ams.. City's goals come from Sterling, Aguero,Silva andSane Liverpool...Sallah, Mane and Firmino PSG, Neymar, mpabee and Cavani Barcelona... Messi,Suarez and Neymar/Dembele At Arsenal, we don't have a specialist LW, Auba and Iwobi just dey try and Nelson is still learning We have noTop RW....Auba tries there, mhicky isn't it,Nelson still forming and Pepe is new.. We have none at AM, Ozil and Mhicky have passed their prime, thanks to Cebbalos but still new. So I feel in few weeks time, we'll be better on that front, We would have sorted CF,RW and AM... Tierney will help us from the left. |

Over 80% of those that started our last match were Emery signings + Wenger signings he’s visibly okay with. So no excuses. |

kokaneprodigy:OK.o My views have been detailed to, the neutrals will see it.. As for the last season talk, injuries and average players was our bane, and we weren't far from UCL. Hopefully the new players gel fast and we have an injury free/fair season. |

Fkhalifa:..... That's the ish bro... I don't just get the complaints... The full squad isn't fully used yet, we had two teenagers starting both matches of the season and yet we are 2nd of the table, people are complaining. The days of Possession and counter attacking sole kind of identity are gone. Guardiola's game has evolved from soft tiki - tika to direct football and now they are very aggressive with smart tactical fouls whenever a team is trying to build something. It's just how football is; you evolve. Now, Liverpool don't press as hard as they used when they play the lower teams but come out in full throttle against the top 6 because Klopp now knows going full throttle all season isn't feasible. .... There are games we will aim to control and there are games we will come in to counter the other team's style. We are still a team in transition, one season won't change decades of Wenger's style and imprint in the team. Fancy football and Identity is good and we will get there but now it's all about results. We need to qualify for the Champions League, that's priority number 1 for this season, everything else is secondary. |

Fkhalifa:oga learn to understand before writing, we asked what guen brings to the table many of you said to recycle possession okay what does emery bring to the table in terms of game play? we not winning possession, we concede more shots compare to when wengay was there now tell us our crime in these instead of those who already condemned us defeat of match we haven't played i don't like hypocrite people aswear but you know we are to chill by october before you and your lots condemned us to a cricket score defeat against lfc |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by sod09(m): 12:36pm On Aug 21, 2019 |
last season if only we have a game plan after going 20 matches unbeaten we went astray no tactics or anything |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by solomonbrown64: 12:39pm On Aug 21, 2019 |
.... I also don't get the fans saying that Auba saved us or Lacazette used power to score blah blah blah.... The goal keeper's job is to stop the ball from getting into the net as much as possible, same with every other member of the team with their individual responsibility. A striker's job is to score but here if they do, some say they are bailing out the coach. What's their damn job in the first place? Is it not to score ? ...na wa oh. .... Against Burnley, we had four quality chances to score apart from both goals, especially that sweet counter where two teenagers beat Burnley's press. Na no see that one. I wish I could post the pass maps of our last game and you will see our future pattern of play clearly written there. |

sod09:Bobo calm dbetter, we are just having fun now...haba.Now get me clear.. Guen's profile says he's a DM/CM, he isn't the type that based his game on scoring or assisting... Majorly, he helps in getting the ball from the back, recycle the ball around, get it to players in advanced position like AM, full backs and wingers to do the attacking job, Also helps out in defense, by interceptions, tacklings, pressings and closing players down. Though he doesn't have the physical frame to do some jobs, but he never hides, shy nor fear getting into duels..it is hoped with time, he'll muscle up and improve in other areas... On Emery, he already stated the style he wants to play, the materials pa Wenger left can't do Jack, he's been clearing them out,and bringing in his, with time, our football will get better, you can't expect it in game2. Forget Pa Wenger's era, teams don't pack bus and budday again, they sigh quality players and get at you, teams go at Chelsea, Utd and Spurs to, Even city and l.pool, the only diff is their forwards are far more clinical than rest of us. Nobody condemned us against Liverpool, they just stated facts that may happen at Anfield, Not many teams in Europe right now ill go to Anfield and get good play and result right now, even PSG, Barca,Bayern and city who are ahead of us will tell you they aren't confident going there. |

Fkhalifa:exactly this was what we were asking but it seems the mention of guen always trigger some attacks from his fan base. we are not saying he should score or assist but improve the so called emery game plan unless his game plan is we concede 10+ shots each match |

solomonbrown64:I already know what some are driving at, to them, it is Guendozi who isn't making the game flow, that he adds nothing.. I even saw some wanting us to lose so they come in here to say I tell you, immediately the lineup came up on sat, its like they were so sure we'll lose and were waiting for final whistle but were disappointed, so they resorted to we played bad and got lucky.. They are waiting for Saturday, so Liverpool can give them say, But they have forgotten Vidal,Rakitic and Busquet couldn't add anything to Barca's attack nor defence that day... But they are busy waiting for saturday to comw use thier keyboards on the kid. I pray Emery uses Torreira/Xhaka, that way, they would shift blame and hate on Luiz, since they hate anything that look like the boy. |

sod09:I understand, but I feel since he didn't cost much, not much wages, in learning stage, and can be sold easily, we shouldn't get much headache from his likes... Personally, there are some players I don't fancy, Xhaka for instance, I fall into the category of fans who wants him outta my team, but I support and hope he does well or get miraculously turn to Xabi Alonso,I only attack him after match... because the season is long and he's stuck with us, I can't live in pains till season ending.. Nelson who I feel isn't ready to replace Iwobi, I just use one mind to hope he turns Sancho or Jao Felix, because if he fails na we fans go carry the pains. |

Fkhalifa:It was you who said Emery’s style is not possession based that it is direct attack with pacy wingers. So How does Guen’s play style of unnecessarily holding on to the ball, taking several touches before releasing a pass or the fact that he most times returns pass to the originator help this Emery’s style of play attackwise.? Defensewise Guen doesn’t do much. So what does he bring to the tactics other than boring me with his age. |

sod09:the hypocrisy stinks. They are quick to blame defense issue on Xhaka, and I ask where does Guen play? He adds little or nothing going forward, next to zero defending. They’ll come and post stats like he won 1 tackle in 90mins as good stats alongside 1000 back passes. |

I’m still trying not to talk about him not tracking the scorer of that goal we conceded. If Xhaka was in same position all hell would have been let loose. There’s nothing spectacular Guen brings to that midfield that an amateur footballer can’t do at least for now. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by solomonbrown64: 4:00pm On Aug 21, 2019 |
Fkhalifa:..... Thank God you can see through their pretense. The poster that asked the style of Emery's football didn't even reply their mentions and neither did I because this particular question has been asked here before and answered, and his own question which he claimed he asked on Reddit was also cleanly answered. It's obvious one still loves Wenger and his system while the other is blind to anything we do or achieve because a player in the very team he claims to support, who gives his all on the field is playing. It's why most times I don't indulge them as do many other fans here. .... The same player they castigate is who most fans on other forums want as the midfielder beside Torreira or Willock in future especially on Saturday. If a young player have negatives, are there not positives about him they can see but no it's the same complaints here everyday. They want to turn here to another one player debate like the positives FC thread. Anyway, you get time sha. .... Arsenal is preparing to give a bumper new five year contract to the Jerry Curl kid, so he will be here for a long time. The same thing with Auba but it's not yet clear for how long yet. .... As for Liverpool, some of us realists have been tagged as accepting defeat when even the coach when asked replied that nobody wants to play Liverpool ever. A joke yes but it's the truth. Let's see wetin go happen for Saturday |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Nobody: 4:03pm On Aug 21, 2019 |
How do u define a player is giving his all? Who determines when a player is giving his all? and who says when a player gives his all it is always good enough? It’s emotional attachments like this I’ve been talking about. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by solomonbrown64: 4:06pm On Aug 21, 2019*. Modified: 4:57pm On Aug 21, 2019 |
..... Imagine the hate. Was it not Ceballos that was wasted in midfield, the Burnley player dribbled him so bad that he was glued to the ground before he made that deflected pass. Luiz failed to track his man, Nelson lost possession that led to the counter in the first place and the one player who tried to prevent the goal is the one who gets the blame .... This is ridiculous on all levels.... Una go tire anyway, Arsenal has seen his "recycling job and blatant giveaways and side way passes" and has deemed it fit to reward his efforts with a new bumper contract. Una go tire last last. ![]() |

kokaneprodigy:Ohk, All you see Guen do is hold the ball too long and pass it back to the originator? The times he was finding Pepe on the wings nko? The driving runs and passes he was putting behind defenders for our full backs? I understand your case, its just like asking an average Arsenal fan you see out there what Xhaka and Mustafi brings to the tactics. |

solomonbrown64:Honestly, the thing tire me,I think I'm done on that issue with them.. Even Baba blueray commends some aspects and points out his weak areas.. To them, "he does nothing", I hate him" he on the bench is a curse to the team bla bla bla.. The day I finally gave up was when Kokane still found a way to bring in Guen away at wolves last season, we were 3-0 down at half time with Xhaka/Torreira in middle, he said " your team is shyt when you have Guen on the bench" he saw nothing wrong with the way wolves dissected us from the midfield, Guen and Nketiah came we scored a consolation..and he rewarded him with hate again.. Same at Anfield, Even the Chelsea games we played in the league with Guen, we had a decent show and score..3-2 and 2-0 Europa final, Chelsea finished us 3-0 with Xhaka/Torreira, Guen,Iwobi and Willock came we scored and looked like we wanted to score. I'm not discrediting Torreira, he his new, young and does well, I'll always protect him. But ma niqqas still had to find a way to bring Guen to how we conceded and played poorly. Its very shameful, you see rival fans come here and laugh at those their talks.. Over 70% fans wanted him here after his first year,Emery and Arsenal wants him here, the pundits and legends are backing him, so Goodluck to the few who wants to be in sifia pains. |

Arsenal win---- Guendouzi was expectional Arsenal draw----- The strikers were not ruthless Arsenal lose---- Xhaka and Mustafi are liabilities Hypocrites they were quick to bring one mumu shearer fantasy on MD1 but when we lose they will blame Mustafi that haven't play for us this season join. We are playing lfc on saturday they already predicted the outcome but we are the hater |

Fkhalifa:.... Can you imagine??... Spy360 don talk am before say he be troll that trolls his own. I didn't see this before then why are we wasting precious time discussing their over the scale bias on a player that they clearly don't like for reasons best known to them? .... I remember when I used to defend Ozil on Justarsenal forum like my life depended on it. We need this and that to help him regain his form and be blazing again but my eyes became clear last season and I respected myself. Still, I saw a difference in his play during the pre-season, he was willing to play especially during the Bayern match in the US. There was hope there and if he brings that to the field this season in the EPL, I will support him regardless of last season's debacle. That's how sane people behave and the reason I respect Baba Ray despite our conflicting opinions. ... As regards Mr Jerry Curl and his over zealous critics I am done oh. There's no salvation in sight. I pray you resist the urge to indulge them as sometimes they have no shame in lying just to get a reaction from some of us like a post up there blaming Burnley's goal on the lad. All trolling in the end. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Fkhalifa(m): 5:09pm On Aug 21, 2019 |
solomonbrown64:Kokane surprised me the most, I used to look forward to reading his post,Those days, he was among the few here who gave correct view on Giroud, he just turned something else, I enjoy how he trolls rivals but not when hw does to his own team. As much as Ozil frustrates, some part of me wants him hit top form, after all its for the teams progress.. Even Nelson who I feel isn't Ready to replace Iwobi, I'm willing to be patient to see what he'll do. As for Mr Jerry curl, everything is negative about the boy, they are Waiting for Saturday and all bad days to dissect the boy. Well, I hope to be able to resist them, we've done our part, neutrals and rival fans can see the truth. BTW, this is how fans voted. ![]()

Fkhalifa:lol I turned something else cos I believe Guen’s style of play doesn’t fit into the fast pace game u want us to play. I don’t think U guys know how painful it is to watch attackers making runs to counter and someone decides to take several touches till the opponent regroups. Just like my past observations that have always come to light I hope it won’t take long before y’all see the light. |

kokaneprodigy:..... Between the both of us, who is emotional? You leave logic and facts to lie just to prove what? Compared to you, has anything have stated concerning this discussion been a lie compared to you who has has stooped so low to create things that never happen just to nail someone even when he was on the bench. Lol. Honestly, if I had seen some of your posts earlier concerning the lad I wouldn't have bother to indulge you. ... Arsenal deem it fit to reward the lad and if this ruthless administration could do that, then your opinion clearly doesn't matter. ... I am done with this discussion henceforth. We can discuss other things but not this that's if I ever want to in the first place. ...I also noticed you ignored my post on your claim that Burnley's goal was Guendouzi's fault. Anyway, it is well. You and your lackey can go on forever with your campaign, I won't interfere again. |
