We have a lazy culture of "watching and talking" about football (especially), Premier league etc... BUT NOT playing the sport itself.
I don't like football..I like cycling.

Age doesn't matter. Sports is not an issue of age, Sir Alex Fergusson successfully managed United even at a very old age. And as regards the 'Youth' in his port folio, my questions are: did he jump to being 50+? was he never a youth at some point in his life?
Also sir, if you're so uncomfortable with the square pegs in Buhari's round hole cabinet, my only advice for you would be to join politics, contest an election and be the true change we want.

Or is NYSC headed by a youth? Is NFF headed by a youth?

Yet, NYSC and NFF are both under the ministry for youth and sport.

The only problem I have with the appointment is the absence of any sporting highlights in Mr Dare's profile. Not even a PHE degree, or a sporting career or a coaching stint or sport administration experience.

For instance, the French minister for youth and sport is a retired athlete.

You people are chasing irrelevant issues. What is the big deal about age? Experience and expertise are what is needed to head a ministry. Ministry for youth does not mean that it must be headed by a youth.

The issue you people should be concerned about is that Mr Dare does not seem to have any sporting highlights. This is like putting square pegs in round holes.
