It is sad that it happened to Ekweremadu.

But the message seen all over the world is loud and clear.

No amount of solidarity can change that. Nigerian leaders react better to actions than words. All the texts, tweets, threats, strikes, protests, cajoling, communique, etc can never move them. But a few slaps, knocks, jabs especially in an unfamiliar territory bring them down to the reality of humans.

The day ASUU will beat the Minister of Education into coma, their arrears and salaries will be paid as at when due. The same goes for NLC. Negotiations haven't got them anywhere in decades.

Need a change? Quit talking and act!
