Edu3Again:So because a northerner is the president means you are serving the north? When Jonathan was president were they serving the south? Ipobians and their intolerance and stupid assertions. Btw, the north is more than the south in number. |

Blame the stupid selfserving leaders from there who can not think beyond their own interests, they rather prefer to be slaves to the so called uneducated north than empowering their region. Foolish Cowards. fishbone11: |

Jonathan never discriminated against any region. He was just to overlook the craftiness of the North and they rewarded him with disappointment. Perkins2018: |

How can you give Kaduna and Kano States two substantive portfolios each? Buhari's appointments have always been lopsided and sentimental. |

imahi ihe na ako? Buhari told the Ministers during the retreat "you cannot see me except through Abba Kyari". By extension, therefore, the Ministers are to report to Abba Kyari who will now clear them before meeting the President. CoolAmbience: |

psucc:And what about that? Are the ministers supposed to 'badge' into the president's office as they please to see him? Shouldn't there be some form of pre-meeting booking or scheduling? Even the ministers themselves shouldn't have DGs, CEOs or Directors of agencies / parastatals under them 'badge' into their offices without some form of pre-notification. E be like say you never work or do business with an organisation wey dey structured before? Abi u be one of those 'so far na Buhari matter' we go complain? Did the president ask the ministers to report to his Chief of Staff? |

Sir, from the beginning it was not so. In fact, from the o'level Government textbook, the Ministers report to the President. Subjecting them to pass through a Chief of Staff is belittling the Office of the Minister who is superior to the Chief of Staff to the President. CoolAmbience: |

psucc:Perhaps, you didn't understand the O level text books you referred to. Buhari did not ask the ministers to 'report to' his Chief of Staff but requested them to make their meeting schedules with his Chief of Staff to see him. Reporting to the president is not the same as scheduling an appointment. Of course, every averagely informed person knows that the ministers report to the president - that is what the constitution specifies. Even in structured organisations, directors / sectional heads get some form of clearance from the CEO's Principal Secretary or someone in that mould, to see the CEO. I really don't see how this is a national concern. |

Please, he didn't say that they should 'report to' his Chief of Staff. You can't claim to understand the President's directive more than the ministers themselves, some of whom are renown lawyers, scientists and PhDs holders. There is nothing to justify. It is not necessary to make a mountain out of this molehill biko. |
