And you are not even one of a little many gastroenterologists, who have good idea of the subject, but are not the best to even talk to - most of whom have not heard of fibroscan or difference between HBV DNA and hbsag quantitative.

I don't even talk to GPs on this subject not to talk of a lab attendant which you likely are.

Rest in peace my brother. I nearly died of this hepatitis two years ago. I was walking, all of a sudden I found myself on the ground. Nearly died. Took so many injections,tabs and dextrose. God speared me. Was asked not to taste meat,fish,beans,red oil, and so many other foods. I was only allowed to eat soup without oil and mostly garden egg leaf. That sickness is terrible.

I don't mean to burst your bubble bro but I just read somewhere that Hep.B ain't got no cure. It only has a vaccine for preventing it but none to cure it. I suggest you heed the words of the lad that prescribed regular check ups so as to avoid a more serious relapse. On second thought, I suppose only a divine cure from The Almighty Jehovah GOD is feasible. Mathew 8:17, and 1 Peter 2:24. Wish you the very best.

I never needed to take any more drugs after February 2004. I guess my immune system fought off the rest or i got divine healing. I see you have a good idea of this stuff, cos when i was being treated, no oil was allowed in anything i ate. My mum was using tomato to mimic oil and honestly, after that ordeal, it took me several years to start eating tomatoes again.

To be on a safer side
1. Get vaccinated against the disease
2. Eat healthy food specially more fruits.
3. Take a lot of water it helps in homeostasis (normal state of the body).
4. Avoid inhaling contaminated oxygen...especially combustibles and smoke from pipes
5. Ensure you foods are properly Cooked. ( that's where a good wife comes in lol)

I'll give you a few.
Just imagine you have the worst kind of whooping cough. That is not even the worst part as each time you cough, it will be like a thousand needles are pressed into your heart. It takes you maybe 20 seconds to get over it, but the cough is still there right at the top of your throat like landlord.

Imagine your stomach left where it was and come up to your esophagus. I mean, you cant eat anything without vomiting it under 5 mins, you cant also defecate as your stomach is so bloated.

Then there is the fever that can boil beans, i mean, mere passing next to someone without even touching the person, they will know your body is hot.

You will even loose your hair while at it.The only thing i could keep down then was cocacola. every other thing, i vomited after 5 mins.
