I have witnessed no:10. 2006 Benz GL450. Steering rack leaking na die. You go dey buy power steering oil every day like pure water. You can be driving, Gbam, the shock absorbers go leak and the Benz jeep go dey drag on as if you dey drive lorry

No wonder people are selling their range rovers for 2m plus on jiji. For me Toyota camry 06 is peace of mind personified. Some said I should calculate the odometer from when I started and service it when it gets to a certain number but I don’t even understand that one. I’ve read online and some people say they service their cars once in 6 months and some others once in a year. The previous corolla I was driving for an angent under this Uber platform said I should be servicing the car every 6 weeks. So I want to ask, how often is it okay to service my Toyota Matrix? Every six weeks or once in 2 to 3 months? Thanks as I anticipate your reply.

lol.. Oga this one is hard o. I service my car every 3-5 months cos it's for private use,plus don't move around so much. But I think u should ask the guys who service your car. Mine suggested every 3 months.

All model of this car was recalled due to fire, you can park and it will still catch fire, u can be on motion and it will catch fire, reasons?, fuel leaking into d engine, no Nigerian mechanic can fix it, you have to return it back to d company.

Transmission problem, you can ask anybody using this car, dey have changed gear box like 1million times, major figures of this suv was recalled, failed alot of test, but still found its way to Nigeria, gear can hook OK motion and can lead to accident.

Airbag problem, you can be driving, if u enter big porthole, d airbags will activate and boom on ur face, almost all of this car accident is caused by the airbag pulling on drivers face, avoid it at all cost.

Run from this car, it was a test project before it was been released

Engine (60%)
Transmission and Drivetrain (0%)

Paint, Rust, Leaks, Rattles etc

Avoid d 2009 model if u are buying, crankshaft issa goal, it will give u problem, and d engine cos is around 2/3million naira, gear can also hook to park, making it difficult to put ur car in park gear.

Now let’s focus on electrical problem, once the problem starts u will know, ur dashboard will be messed up, car won’t move again, now, it will affect d engine.

Since it’s electrical, it sends light back into d engine switch and damages d major part of it, u will need to replace that engine, now 9ja rewire go just do shady work, and dat thing will repeat itself…so don’t buy it.

Volks Touareg, this suv’s problem is legendary and it’s one of the top cars you should never buy, I will just outline d major ones,

Sensor failure
Water finding it’s way mixing with oil, and straight into d engine (Knock)

Power steering failure, u fit dey drive make ẹ hook, u Don die be that.

9. 2008 Audi Q5:

Audi Q5 2008
Avoid diesel engine, na die.
Major problem, electrical problem
Engine stalling, too much speed will cause engine combustion, now it can make ur bonnet pull while on motion, thousands were recalled but u know na, some go still enter 9ja, avoid it.

The major one is d suspension, the car is too heavy for the suspension Benz gave to it, causing d balloon to always leak, one Leg balloon, is around 900k, now imagine if d 4 spoil.

Steering problem, mechanic will keep eating ur money on this, only the company can fix

18. 2008 Mazda CX-7:

problems with the 2008 CX-7’s Variable Valve Timing (VVT) & timing chain failing, causing major damage to the engine — Mazda uses an interference design so typically the valves are bent & the entire engine needs to be replaced.

The brake pads wear out easily.

See this one, they were so unfortunate to make it all electric, u can drive it in manual, u see that manual switch is near d drive column, so by mistake if u put ham for manual and u drive it like That without changing the gear…gbèsè dey, gear box na 570k.

2 to 3 months is OK for your matrix before u Service it. You should even know while driving when it's due for servicing and need d to be serviced

This one is fuel pump, and it’s always caused by stalled engine pressure, u will start and it will start shaking like person wey get warapa, once pressure no dey, fuel pump go suck everything wey dey inside and dirty must dey…so avoid it.

See this one, they were so unfortunate to make it all electric, u can drive it in manual, u see that manual switch is near d drive column, so by mistake if u put ham for manual and u drive it like That without changing the gear…gbèsè dey, gear box na 570k.

lol.. Oga this one is hard o. I service my car every 3-5 months cos it's for private use,plus don't move around so much. But I think u should ask the guys who service your car. Mine suggested every 3 months.

2 to 3 months is OK for your matrix before u Service it. You should even know while driving when it's due for servicing and need d to be serviced

That is why it is good to go for the luxury division where the experts work . Instead of buying Toyota, go for Lexus, instead of Nissan go for Infiniti, and instead of Honda, go for Acura. If you have money .

All cars have issues no doubt but the top experts works on luxury division and that have helped me a lot. Anyway google to decide and don't follow band wagon effect, and don't rely on naija mechanic.decision. Lots of car issues are caused by bad mechanics that service it, and it start from.change of oil,that is why owners manual is very important , and check specifications yourself, mechanics will still be paid again to repair it even if he put wrong oil himself

Google car possible problems and solution and decide want to use the car for, what is capacity is ,and compare on net with foreign price, not just hear say. A guy worked on my site and said they told me he should just buy anything Toyota.that there would be no problem. And that is why Toyota price is too much more than their original value abroad especially that Corolla..

By the time you google Toyota problems, or see some abandoned with mechanics you will know every monkey loves banana, I knew of a guy that sold his Camry big for nothing to mechanic for 150 lk due to problems even though it was bought for 700k naija used.

If you buy cars just to save fuel alone, you don't know what you are missing.!. You don't have to be bored just because you want to save a galon of fuel..

You can expect a 1.8 engine v4 not to consume fuel than a 3.5 lite V6 but the performance and towing capacity of the later is higher and you will feel it in handling.

God give me money to really enjoy mussle cars and it likes, than just jubilation, I saved a galon of fuel every time just because a have a 1.8 litre boring vehicle and if your basic objective is fuel saving alone, get a v1 boxer and you will save fuel a lot more.and thank me for that after.
