Teeders:
the check engine light has been there even before restoring it to factory spec but now while driving the car it blinks
Get a good OBD II scanner and read the error code(s) first. Sometimes, there might be more than one issue at play.
Re: Official Nissan & Infiniti Thread by Nobody:
Good day peeps,

Please I'm new to this page and I really need to fix a Nissan Pathfinder 2014 and sell afterwards, I've done so many things to restore to perfect condition but 98% of our mechanics get brain fart (apologies to the better engineers here).

Problem last diagnosed is "failure to engage transmission when driving".
1. It keep jerking when it's supposed to change gear.
2. There's the very obvious noise from transmission struggle.

Last recommendation is that I should change the transmission brain box but I'm a bit skeptical after trying so many things with heavy cost.

Please I need assistance from the true experts here.

Thanks in advance.

You didn’t state the year of the car. However, I see modules scanned included the BCM and IPDM, so I presume it must be from the 6th Gen up (from 2004). What symptoms are you having? What made you run a scan? Has the SES light always been on? Serous drivability issues could result from a malfunctioning Power Steering Pressure (PSP) sensor, though its error code P0550 would normally not light up the SES. P0031 and P0051 are for the two upstream oxygen sensors (Banks 1&2). What work has been done on the car recently? For the SRS, the relevant parts seem disconnected.

Thanks a lot costee. It's a 2004 SE model of Nissa Maxima. The check engine light has been on since I bought it. The major issue is the overheating.

How have you addressed the overheating?
Delete the codes, drive around a couple of minutes and re-scan.

Alright. I will do that and revert here.

As regards work done on the overheating prior the scanning, the radiator was washed. But after scanning, the technician who did it said no detection of overheating. Though, he was to get a thermostat for it as there is none and afterwards do bleeding.

What do you advise? Can you also help with the interpretation of the other CAN codes shown in the scan report?

Have you thoroughly searched for leakage? What do you use: water or coolant?
You may call me up for details.

Hey there guy, I have a 2006 Infiniti M45. The A/C works well only while the vehicle is moving. If the car is stationary, it blows hot air. Also, the airflow is very low at fan speed 2 and average at the highest fan speed.

Cabin filter is dirty needs replacement.
Concerning the cooling possible cause.
1,compressor faulty.
2,low refrigerant in the system.
3,engine rpm too low.

I am having issue as yours with my maxima. After changing radiator, mecho is insisting it's gasket that is burned. I am still reluctant on it.

What was fixed all three times? The head gasket? Are your thermostat and radiator intact and unblocked?
