I think the law said if you graduated before the age of 30, even if you are 50yrs when you wants to serve, you can still serve

what Nysc uses is your DOB sent from school.. so if you are show that you used 1989 in your jamb, it's not a problem.. besides you shouldn't have a problem either way, because you graduated 2017

Please help me out in this matter

I registered for NYSC 2019 batch B stream I and I was posted to a state but something came up and I couldn't go to camp. I try to reprint my call up letter when its time for stream 2 then I saw that it is still the same state I was posted to initially.

My question is will I be able to change the state I was posted to if I wait for the next batch?

If yes please tell me the procedures

People older than 30 that you see in NYSC camp are those that graduated under 30 but did not serve then, and NYSC laws state that at time of your graduation if you are under 30 you will be mobilized.

But the new law states that those that graduated above 30 can still serve if they are interested. We were briefed about this in camp last year.

I don't think there's a 2019 Batch C ooo. Batch C is typically an emergency Batch.
It was created to compensate when the number of serving corp members is below the number needed probably for a nation wide assignment and stuffs like that. 2018 Batch C was created because of the General Elections, prior to 2018 the last time Batch C existed was 2016 and 2013 respectively.

For your information, there is going to be 5 batches this years, 2 gone, 1 in camp and 2 to come. Don't ask me source.

honestly polytechnic graduates should be banned from going for NYSC.
I don't like the issue of merging them with we bsc holders and when these polytechnic graduates go for service and in their NYSC outfit they'll be claiming and posing as bsc holders
