The end to erosion menace in Nnewi and the rest of the Southeastern part of Nigeria appears not to be in sight.

This is the video of a place that is believed to be the erosion site at Nnewi Anambra state (100 FT road) destroying erected buildings just now.

A combination of mismanagement of ecological funds, shoddy work by contractors and indiscriminate construction of structures without professional competence. I shudder whenever I remember the image of youths in a community excavating and loading up tippers in a community that is erosion prone.

Dis kain calamity dey haffen for Southeastern Nigeria and some folks still get mouth to call safer places Brown Roof! May God prevent us from the foolishness that makes some people DEVELOP other lands but neglect their homelands. Dis one pass ordinary talk!

This issue has been on for years in the south east,an ecological problem just like desertification in the north.
But instead,all the fed govt past and present spends and wastes billions looking for oil in the millions north,spends millions fighting desertification in the north and has endorsed 5% of the national cake to develop Boko Haram ravaged NE and has totally abadoned the SE.
Buharis hatred for the SE is legendary not to notice this now as well

The only governor that fought erosion menance in Nnewi was Dame Virgy Etiaba.
