The Bible is filled with a lot of mysteries. One of them is why did God choose Mary to become the one to give birth to Jesus Christ? I will appreciate all the answers I can get.

I remember asking my pastor this question sometimes.. He responded like this, Mary wasn't the only virgin at that time nor in that land. But they are people God set aside to honour them because he love them.

Mary wasn't a Christian but she was with a pure heart.
The question i ask myself, God can you choose me for any assignment?

7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will FIND; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks FINDS; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

If you want favor, simply SEEK IT.

As a lady favor is meant to be with you so that when your husband FINDS YOU, he OBTAINS FAVOR from the LORD.... so you cant be asking for it.... it is already there with you, you only need to activate it. so HERE is how to activate it...

12 Surely, LORD, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield. shey you see? the verse does not say you have to do anything... RIGHTEOUSNESS is a gift once you are born again.... so you simply believe and confess this everyday.... but guess what, YOU ALREADY CONFESS IT without believing... every church you attend, every day you pray... WE ALL SHARE THE GRACE... mostly halfheartedly without really believing what we are saying so it barely works.

Mind your Language. God didn't choose Mary. Mary was specially made a Prophetess to carry out God's Assignment. And She performed the Assignment perfectly well.

The Light of God in you is your own Assignment to shine, to show and to live well with.

May God grant you proper Understanding of His Words.

Mary was a righteous/just Jewish woman who was of the bloodline of David and was also single and engaged at the time in question.
