Are you sure these were not projects completed by patience jonathan? Why is Buhari always taking glory for Jonathan work?

At least everyone knows Patience didn't play any role in the government, I mean, apart from looting and intimidation and controlling her husband

You know the great thing about this, is that YOU JUST KNOW that these projects will all be completed in full and to specifications, because it is BUHARI in charge, and he doesn't joke with projects.

It's not about awarding contract today and you don't hear about it tomorrow. Not with Buhari. Just by seeing the drawings alone, you know the project is happening live.

That's one thing I like about Mr President. smiley

They ''hate you to zilch'' yet they approved 2.3 billion USD to build a railway system to transform your region, something your own son did not do, but rather embezzled billions of dollars with Diezani and Kola Aluko (Mr 50 million dollar private yacht). Ewu.

US $2.3bn approved for construction of coastal railway project in Nigeria

Jun 3, 2019

The government of Nigeria has approved the Ministry of Transportation’s request of US $2.3bn for the construction of Lagos-Calabar coastal railway project expected to cut across most states in the South East and South of the country.

Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi who announced the reports said that a sum of US $1.8bn would come as a loan from Chinese banks, with the government providing a counterpart fund of US $500m.

China Civil Engineering Construction Company (CCECC) was awarded the Lagos-Calabar coastal railway line construction contract. Amaechi revealed that first segment of the rail line will start from Port Harcourt to Warri to join the central line that goes to Abuja. The segment is projected to be ready within 2 years.

Many of these projects have already been around for a number of years, such as the Abuja-Kaduna line, and if anything, they are adding more to them in terms of facilities, and yes, they are being very well maintained, thank you very much.

Dude, that's not how it works! You and Buhari are allowed to give into your debased and negative sentiments towards Ndigbo and express it by denying us equal treatment with other regions/ethnicities! But if you say you will not give Alaigbo its EQUAL and fair share of projects because they don't like you...b'cos they gave you 5%...and b'cos they predicted your present acts of wickedness even before you started, that's fair enough! Just make sure you equally remove you covetous eye from any proceeds from oyel and gas exploitation in Alaigbo (note, i said Alaigbo and not south-east), and any tax from Ndigbo as well! That should balance out things nicely don't you think?

We have the south-east or Alaigbo being treated as junior partners in this your 'one Nigeria' experiment....with the north-west and south-west always having first bite at the development cherry pie b/4 others are allowed to partake! This can be seen even on this thread with how Nigeria tells Igbos to wait first until the n-w and s-w are developed b/4 they're considered! It can equally be seen in how Buhari and his tool Hadi-Sirika treat AIIA, Enugu with utter contempt! Notice how they fixed the Abuja runway and upgraded Kaduna airport: giving the job of the runway to Julius Berger; giving a definite time frame within which the work was to be completed at both airports; making public the amount budgeted for the jobs; alternative arrangements were first made for int'l flight passengers to use the upgraded Kaduna airport and ensuring their safety when being ferried between Kaduna and Abuja; and finishing the jobs with the time frame announced!

Now compare the above with how they're handling fixing the runway at AIIA, Enugu and how they're caring for its predominantly Igbo local and int'l customers! Notice any difference?

The thing with people like you is that you know Ndigbo in general and IPOB in particular have a point in their accusation of ill-treatment and marginalisation by Buhari, APC and the Nigerian state! But you peoples hatred towards Ndigbo wouldn't allow you admit it and try to turn a new leaf! It's your wicked actions that serves as the fuel in our bid for secession (or even complete restructuring, which some Igbo are quite prepared to settle for)! Carry on mate! wink

Did PMB's govt initiate the projects?
Did PMB's govt fund them?
What spectacular thing has Buhari's govt done on the railway?

Oga, see .... the Abuja - Kaduna rail line as well as the Itakpe - Warri and Abuja Metro Line railways were all being done by GEJ with some over 95% completed before he left office in 2015.

The same GEJ also paid in full the required 15% counterparts funds to the Chinese govt while China is funding the balance of 85% as loans. Buhari's govt did not fund these projects.

You're just ignorant of how China's bilateral policies in Africa work.
Is Buhari govt funding Nigeria's rail projects? The answer is "No"
So, why will Buhari abandon a rail project he is not funding?

Agreed, his govt paid the initial 15% counterparts fund for Lagos-Ibadan railway as required in the
Nigeria-China agreement but how do you expect projects which China provides 85% of the funding to be abandoned?

Oga see, China does not abandon projects.
Check all their bilateral projects in Africa and show me which one they abandoned.
Irrespective of who governs Nigeria (GEJ, Atiku, PMB, etc), China will complete their projects.

How much is the tax Nigeria gets from the entire SE?

What is even the IGR of SE? A single state in Nigeria more than doubles the revenue from the whole of SE?

Despite the fact i mentioned Alaigbo in its entirety and not just the south-east as you Igbo haters love to do, lets take a little look at that south-east that you want us to limit ourselves to! Notice some percentages were entered in for Abia and Imo in the diagram you attached! Your next argument will be that the figures are quite small compared to the other states listed. Now my question to you is: if the receipts from the sale of oyel and gas exploited from these two Igbo states are so 'small and laughable', why haven't you greedy, covetous lot removed your paws from it and left it for Ndigbo to control 100%? If it's so insignificant as you no doubt would claim, why bother with exploiting it in the first place? Attaching importance and putting effort into something you deride and treat as inconsequential is not only hypocritical but the first sign of madness don't you think?

If I have my way, I will make sure the govt doesn't look in the direction of that 5 barrels and allow you the entire SE to control, but at the same time, you have no business going to queue in Abuja every month for any allocation.
