Lagos needs expansion.

With good transport systems, lagos is a stone thrown from Ogun or Oyo.

True, if a light rail come alive, people would decongest Lagos and live in Ogun state (Sagamu, ijebu ode and Ibadan).
If a train leaves Ibadan around 5am and get to Lagos before 6.30am ,why won't people leave that radical Lagos mainland ? All those yeye Landlords inflating rent would bury their head in shame but not in this generation. Nigerian government is only for their pockets

WORD ON THE STREET

* That new bus(es) isn't any where near 800 numbers
* Majority of them only ply Berger to Ikeja and back
* They don't even use BRT lane

Because they are NOT BRT buses...
They are just regular commuter buses.

OP, these are NOT "BRT buses"...

And as you can see from the picture, commuters shun Danfo and WAIT for the buses...
Because they are much more comfortable and (in almost all cases) actually CHEAPER!

Thank you.

Every Nigerian deserves a trip to the advanced world at least once a year, so they can see possibilities instead of magnifying small problems and worshipping stupid old deranged bastards for feeding school children while their parents are unemployed and willing to work.

Your rulers go to the "advanced world" more than once a year...
Even ordinary Nigerians who behave abroad start fighting on the plane.

The only solution is a Subway system. Lagos is already overpopulated, buying more buses will add to the problem instead of solving it.

Likely to be PROHIBITIVELY EXPENSIVE, given Lagos' high water table...
The Light Rail (all 7 planned lines) and water transportation would suffice.

That's why I believe they are cursed bastards from the pit of hell.
You can't see how advanced the rest of the world is and be comfortable with Nigeria. You just can't.
