How to empty the recycle bin of android phones.
A recycle bin is the folder in a smartphone where deleted files a temporarily stored. This recycle bin is usually a hidden folder in the file manager. A very simple way to gain access to your recycle bin and delete the files there is by installing the ES File explorer android app. Once installed, follow the steps below;
1. Open the home screen of the app just like the image below.
2. Click on the three horizontal lines at the left top of the home screen. A menu will pop out from the left side off your screen.
3. Scroll down and activate “recycle bin” if it is inactive.
4. Go back to the Home screen and click on the “Analyze” button. The app will analyze the internal and external (memory card) memory of your smartphone.
5. When the analysis is done, you will have the result of your memory usage.
6. Scroll down the result till you see “junk files”, click on it to open.
7. You will see “recycle” (recycle bin) with the memory it is consuming at its right side.
8. Click on the small circle beside the “memory value” so that it turns green.
9. Check if there are any other junk file you may like to delete permanently and also click them.
10. Click “CLEAN NOW”.

Spell along with me

R-U-B-B-I-S-H.. RUBBISH.

Why?

Android OS on its own doesn't come with a Recycle Bin functions like on PC. What this means is that if you delete a file on your phone, it is deleted and the only way you can recover it is using a file recovery application which becomes even more difficult if the memory is formatted.

ES Explorer has a Recycle Bin function which when turned on, saves files deleted via ES Explorer. That means even if it is turned on and you delete say a photo, music or file on another app in your phone, the file is gone and will NEVER appear in ES Explorer recycle bin. OP please be specific with your descriptions.

I've been an avid user of ES Explorer and ES Explorer Pro for a very long time now and have pretty good idea how it works. Ciao.

For willing downloaders, the app has been removed from playstore so you'ld have to search for and download it from websites.

1. Infinix Smart 3 is just a phone model out of thousands. Your topic stated Phone.
2. Android 9 OS is just 1 of the 16 OS Android has released.
3. The recycle bin you turn on is that of ES Explorer and works for only files deleted via ES Explorer. Stop misleading people. Be precise.
If any one needs to grow up, it's you and your incomplete thinking. Like I said, be specific in your descriptions. If not for my withering discredition of your crazy generalization, you'ld have fooled a number of people into believing this junk ordinarily.
