Honestly, I loved Drax in GOTG vol. 1.
I thought his tragic backstory...loosing his family, wife and children to Thanos's henchmen made him relatable and gave him some depth as a character.

Then came GOTG vol. 2 and Marvel turned Drax into a full time comic relief. He spent almost half the movie cracking lame jokes.

Drax is arguably one of the most useless characters in MCU.
I understand why Bautista is looking to jump ship.

He can play Clayface or Bane.

Just saw the joker's trailer. Mixed reactions actually. i don't think it will be as good as the dark knight. This one that everybody is shouting Oscar for Joaquin Phoenix.

They turned drax the destroyer into drax the jester. Same way they turned Thor to a fat clown, hulk to a coward and spiderman into someone that can't think without tony Stark.

Am sure baustita was simply requesting they do a one off back story of drax which will showcase the true nature of drax, but it was turned down.

6 billion people didnt know who the hell drax was 10 years ago. Marvel took a risk bringing this dead character to the big screen. And now he is talking trash about MCU.

All DCEU movies contained very well known characters and NO standalone movie was for unknown character.
but MCU GOTG (characters that could not sell their own comicbooks), and Antman.

Drax the destroyer comics is based on his back story, Is that not what is being asked for by DB? That his origin story be made into film in the future?
