Eden Hazard has won the 2018-19 Europa Player Of The Season Award after his campaign with Chelsea last season, MySportDab reports.

The 28-year-old won the award ahead of former teammate Olivier Giroud and Real Madrid new signing Luka Jovic.

Hazard was man of the match as Chelsea beat Arsenal4-1 in the Baku final, the brilliant Belgian scoring twice on his farewell appearance for the club before joining Real Madrid.

Not a scam. Awards mostly are not purely subjected to numerical assessment like in academics, but by voting. So people vote most times based on sentiments. But majority of the votes carry the day.
