otuekong1:You are damn right with the bolded. I’ve always tell people that the Igbo man is like a Fulani, they have the same mindset of domination and claiming other people’s properties as theirs. What amazes me is that the core SS’ner are usually silent about this and sometimes I think maybe they’ve learnt to see eachother as one. In February 1966, Isaac Adaka Boro understood the dominance of Igbo on the Niger Delta and how they are lording over them because of the new found oil. When he tried to secede by declaring the Niger delta republic, the Ojukwus at that time made sure they frustrate him up to the extent that he was charged of treason. Gowon will later grant him amnesty on the eve of the civil war in May 1967. That was part of the reason why the Niger deltans fought on the federal side because they know that remaining under the dominance of the Igbos in Biafra will be catastrophic to them because the Igbos will make sure they claim everything to themselves. Look at the case of the SW for example, the Igbos in Lagos always claim everyday that they own it or developed it, if it had been the fulanis that are talking like that, there would have been chaos in the media. They have started claiming Ogun state also and with time they will move to other places. Ahmadu Bello understood the Igbo man mindset and he captured it perfectly in the video that was in circulation some while back. Although both Fulani and them are bird of a feather. The only difference between the Fulani and the Igbo ideology is that while the Fulanis are stupidly wicked and can kill, the Igbo man don’t have that much wickedness at heart to kill , but they all have the same mindset of dominating other people. |

Igbos will continue to excel no matter what you throw at them. You may slow them down with your cave man mentality but you can never STOP their progress. I dare you to try. Even genocide and civil war massacres with 3 great powers assisting didn’t stop them. |

mrvitalis:He died in active service (fighting on the side of the Nigerian army) in 1968 at Ogu near Okrika in rivers state. This is the exact word he said when he tried to secede from the dominance of the Igbos in the Eastern region. “Today is a great day, not only in your lives but also in the history of the Niger Delta. Perhaps, it will be the greatest day for a very long time. This is not because we are going to bring the heaven down, but because we are going to demonstrate to the world what and how we feel about oppression. Remember your 70 year old grandmother who still farms before she eats; remember also your poverty-stricken people; remember too, your petroleum which is being pumped out daily from your veins; and then fight for your freedom.” |

[s] LegendHero:[/s] Awo, Zik and Sarduna all worked with one of each other to balkanize each other's region. Awo and Zik worked together unsuccessfully to emancipate the middle belt from the north. Sarduna and Zik worked with each other to create Midwest region from western region. Awo and Sarduna sponsored the Adaka Boro seccesionist movement to weaken the eastern region. The mantra one north was coined by the Sarduna as a rallying call to assuage the middle belt peoples into believing in one United and equal northern region. |

APCHaram:You are trying to be clever by half by not hitting the nail on the head. Awolowo was an easy going Nigerian without no dominating attitude like the Igbos and the Fulanis. When the mid-west region were breaking out from the western region they organized a referendum and they left without any much fracas. The Eastern region made sure Adaka Boro was silenced and they charged him for treason. Why can’t they allow the Niger Delta to secede then too? To extend the dominating attitude, you slaughtered the leaders of other regions in the failed coup including our own Akintola while sparing Azikwe who was a snitch. The Fulani paid you back in your own coin when you tried to secede in 1967. That explains why Adaka Boro fought on the federal side. Azikwe is a snitch who betrayed even the Biafra people during the war. He already betrayed the south by forming alliance with the illerate north with the aim of dominating the government which manifested in him putting Igbo men at almost all federal parastatals. It’s akin to what Buhari is doing in present day Nigeria by putting fulanis in every post. But the Fulanis played the game of domination well, that’s why they’ve been putting the Igbos in their place. It’s a case of two people that have the same ideological mindset. |

Well no Igbo ever asked me but since you ask n I can see the misconception. I still do not hate any Igbo except those one with trait of irredeemable bigotry, excessive foolishness n chronic hate for other Nigerians n their elected officials eg those eager to insult Buhari Fashola Akpabio Amechi Tinubu Awolowo Argbesola but will not hate failure personified Theodore Orji, kerosene Ikpeazu Ojukwu Ekweremadu Azikwe etc So from today you will not return to NL to lie it’s cos they say Igbos are proud that’s why they are hated. Personally, my tribe view proud people as foolish people so there is nothing to envy about any proud person. I also know you won’t drop your misconceptions so you can keep defending your tribe foolishly but am glad you have been schooled in your inner mind so when you lie next time you know deep down why Igbos are hated but just love to feign ignorance. tungamaje: |

otuekong1:I am not here to measure with you or your State rather I want Nigeria to move forward infrastructurally, economically and human development. Google Imo State Oil Wells and if you have ever been to Owerri, try and visit Shell Camp ( Fmr Shell Facility), it's very close to Government house and opposite the Mosque and 5 mins walk to Police HQ.
