I took the same décision in April. It's my 6th month now. It's a very challenging endeavour but quite rewarding. Called Af Ibadan yesterday to make enquiries about Tef registration in October. I spoke french from thé beginning to the end, I'd never felt so good.

It requires a great deal of time and dedication. Keep at it and in no time, you would be glad you did.

On what exams to register for, dont bother yourself yet. Enjoy learning the language. In my opinion, if you've developed the nécessary compétence, you can write any exam

Self-imposed immersion: Changed my phone language to French, listened to only French News (TV & Radio), tried as much to avoid lengthy English Conversations and stick to Francophone Nigerians as chat buddies.

Use of Past Questions found online

One thing I left out in my latest attempt, which cost me dearly, was Practice of reading and writing Faits Divers as well as listening tests as found in 250 activities.

Hello all, your advice is kindly needed. Tef preparatory class will soon begin at the allinace francais close to me however i want to write tcf. The preparatory class for tcf is held only in PH which is quite a distance for me. I can only go there to write the exam but cannot join the prep class which last for 1 month due to my job. Pls is it advisable to join the tef preparatory class? Will it cause some sort of confusion to me or will it help me to prepare for tcf? Thanks

CE: long texts (biere vert, pantheon, globe trotters, la Societe actuel)

EE: 1. Une biche dans un supermarche (wink wink mamaroon)
EE: 2. les pays ressemble a cause de tourisme

EO 1: Call someone so you can test video games
EO 2: Convince a friend to take up a service that proposes gym classes outside.

We'll see in 3 - 4 weeks. Was undecided about taking it but eventually made the trip...met cool people.

Practice and a bit of coaching is not a bad idea. The core skills are transferable.

What must happen is that you have to give yourself a few days to adjust and prepare for the TCF format.

I could remember how I hate french class in secondary school especially because of conjugation of a thing, please how does people bypass conjugation

If you hated French (actually still hate it,) and you are looking for a way to bypass conjugation, you will NOT PASS TEF And your 160k will be in the lagoon.

This is me being real with you
The exams are not easy

You will write essays, face a panel, and even listen to multiple audios and answer questions on them

For you to make it in this French business
You have to love the language, put in the effort, and learn conjugation
