We tried sha. The Egyptians meant business.

Part of the issues with our Nigerian team is that we win 0 medals in Swimming, which has a LOT Of medals at stake.

Just image.. the combine medal haul of Nigeria and South Africa is not upto that of Egypt....what colossal fvckery is dawan.

I just looked at Kenya and Ethiopia's positions on the table and laugh..but when it gets to the global stage you see these countries topping the African ranks. Their area of strength belongs to Africa while Egypt, Nigerua and South Africa to some extent capitulate in their strong areas because it was never theirs in the first place.

They would be topping the African ranks with 4-6 gold medals which would come in Long distance races, they have never gotten up to 5 golds cumulatively from sports aside from long distance races which they are prime at the world over. Nigeria and other African countries would be flexing their muscles in plethora of sports of which due to bad organization (predominantly Nigeria) the efforts of the athletes can only get them to median levels, while other world nations that invest and take sports as a form of youth development and orientation would be far beyond their reach of competence. It's no surprise when the Nigerian athletes come back to Africa and dominate cos they have an edge over other African countries facing similar challenges as they. Egypt and South Africa have the best infrastructures for sports in Africa, that's why you need to respect the fighting spirit of an average Nigerian, irrespective of this gulf in class in what is obtainable in social, organizational and sports infrastructure, our athletes still push the Egyptians and South Africans to their toes. Tells you how far we can go if things are done right in the country.
Also I think South Africa performs better than the named nations by you in the olympics.
