I still say that I don't know who is giving you information. Igbo people and Northerners were very happy with each other and very many Igbo people of today were born in the north and still prefer life in the north to the south. Northerners never accused the Igbos of taking over all their jobs. The Igbo workers in the north then were mainly skilled workmen and the North was grateful to them because they did not possess those skills. Rancour only began when the military invaded the space. Thanks.

The ordinary northerner don't like salary job, where they will wait for 30 days before receiving money.They prefer the job you pay them at the end of the day.Also they may not give the employer the maximum performance in the job, hence they go for the southerners.

If u know Hausafulani states very well, they don't let southerners get close to their state and LG jobs in all levels let alone some multi nationals jobs.

They discriminate extremely against Southerners and others Christians middlebelt states when employment opportunities is opened.

dont mind the poster, he has no claim. federal jobs are highly dominated by northerners. for the military and paramilitary sector, its a no go area if your name doesn't sound north.

i grew up around petroleum training institute in effurun delta state and it wil surprise you that about 65% of the staffs there now are from the north, and this wasn't the case 15-20yrs ago. the figure in WRPC will even shock you. they are transferring them in drones from abuja down to the south.

during the previous Nigerian navy employment, i was in the office of a friend who runs a cybercafe. before my eyes some some northers who cant fully communicate in English were printing test letters for navy jobs applied on their behalf there in the north. this was same thing a younger cousin of mine with good grades was pursuing and couldnt get.

Northern Nigeria, the region that has so much neglected itself in terms of human development, that Nigeria is the poverty capital of the world is the north, Polio north, over population north, terrorism is in the north, religion extremism also north with illiteracy. Despite being in power forever yet there is nothing to show for it in terms of human development.

If you care you would notice that most of the high profile corruption cases involve northern elites yet people like Hell Rufai will tell you that they are the most honest and less corrupt Nigerians.

Honestly, there is something fundamentally wrong with Islam, something fundamentally wrong that imparts the idea that it is ok for Muslims to oppress and control others but not ok for them to be treated the same way they treat others who have different beliefs. Why? What is good for the good is also good for the gander. Now they are saying it not ok for Rivers to be a Christian state, but it is ok to force and convert 12 Northern States to Islamic Sharia States and ok to try to convert the whole North to an Islamic Caliphate through Boko Haram. I don't think they are worse than southerners in this regard. At least I know numerous non hausa/fulani people working under state governments all over northern Nigeria. The same is virtually IMPOSSIBLE if the tables are turned. Can you see a fulani man as a director under the Anambra state government for example? I know an Anambra man who died as a director under the Niger state government years back. Let's be fair in stating our facts please.
