What do you define as going donward spiral? Here we go with more self-hate garbage. FYI, South Africa has grown economically in leaps and bounds since the end of apartheid rule. The economy has expanded under black rule. Yes they have problems with xenophobia, but so does the USA, and I haven't heard you call them a 'failed state''.
