Another reason they may remain and fight is because they are aware and believe that they have a right to defend themselves and their families with them and them businesses...not everyone is chicken heated and runs away from a fight that's unjust.
Personally, I wouldn't run, but stand, fight, defend my life, my family, my livelihood. And I bliv that's what every Nigerian man should do even against these herdsmen and bandits...
