Nigerians have to show the government and people of South Africa that there's a price to pay for killings of innocent Nigerians in their country. If they know that their investments in Nigeria are not safe, then they would force their government to do something about incessant killings of Nigerians. This is not the first time that they had attacked law abiding Nigerian citizens doing legitimate business in their country and nothing was ever done about it. So, that's the reason they keep doing it expecting no repercussions. It 's up to ordinary citizens to take it upon themselves and take actions to let them no that Nigerian lives are not to be wasted for nothing. As smart as Nigerians are, they can come up with IEDs and fire bomb their establishments in the dead of the night and set them on fire.

They do not even understand scale. The people and businesses being murdered in SA are the little guys. Any big organisation in this country has a security budget. Every mtn, shoprite or other SA company has a security department with ex police or military. They have been planning or preparing for this since nans started making noise.

They all have invested Nigerian partners and workers and service providers.

A situation where the Nigerians exit sa and the South Africans exit Nigeria will show the radical difference in investments.

There is no proper answer to this.

I dont condone violence but it's only when big men are affected that change happens. Even if it is Nigerians that own the SA franchises here, the big men in SA will fell the impact. when they feel the effect, they call their people in SA to order.

The bitter truth is that nigeria need south african businesses more than they need us. Massive Employment, tax revenue and services provide by their firm does not come second to any private firm in the country.

There is relatively nothing South African government can do in this case cos the fight is by the citizens of the country who are not comfortable with the character disposition of the average Nigerian they encounter on day to day basis. The South African government knowing the consequences on Trade and investment relationship between the two countries would not support this act ( even if individuals of government may have a deep resentment). All that can be done is for the SA police to strengthen its clamp down on the protesters and their government focus on policy shifts to curtail "gains" by foreigners which are affecting the prospects of their indigenes.
