Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has terminated the appointment of Abdulmumeen Okara as his Special Adviser/Focal Person on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Folashade Arike, announced this in a statement on Thursday.

Okara has been directed to hand over all government property in his custody to the most senior director in the agency with immediate effect, Igbere TV reports.

Bello wished Okara the best in his future endeavours.

The statement did not say why Okara’s appointment was terminated.

This is not far from his responses on the interview last night . He indicted his principal in one of his responses saying that bello met Gov. Fintiri in his hotel after the shooting at the stadium during pdp primaries .

Exactly my thought, Yaya Bello has not completed up to 3 projects in the state despite the fact that he didn't pay a single dime to civil servants during the screening days. A sane individual shouldn't be working under him in any capacity
