In a very rare moment of truth, Lai Mohammed begged Nigerians live on National TV to "forgive Buhari" stating further that Buhari can not recollect where his WASC certificate is.

Now why would Lai Mohammed of all people do this? Well because the ongoing suit filed by PDP and Atiku challenging Buhari's emergence as winner at the last polls is also calling for Buhari's disqualification owing to Buhari not presenting a copy of his WASC certificate with his INEC form. Buhari has been using a sworn court affidavit since 2003 when he began contesting for the presidency. At no time has Buhari ever made any effort to contact the relevant issuing body (in this case Cambridge) to re-issue him another certificate or a statement of result.

The affidavit also makes Buhari immune to scrutiny since Cambridge will not consider any inquiries by a third party unless the document is made public. If Buhari submitted even the obviously fake statement of result issued on his behalf by his purported Secondary school principal or the attestation certificate issued by WAEC to him in late 2016, automatically anybody can go to Cambridge and demand for its authenticity to which Cambridge must comply.

The latest lie by Lai claiming that PDP agents stormed Cambridge to ascertain if Buhari ever sat for the WASC is just another lame attempt by Lai in undoing his own gaffe and also points to how scared the APC and Buhari camp are over the ongoing election suit especially as it concerns Buhari's ineligibility to contest as contained in the constitutional least academic pre-requirements for contesting the presidential elections.

It was Sagay and Keyamo that first showed signs of panic over the ongoing certificate scandal when they lamely tried to turn logic on its head by stating that one not need to have a wasc/waec certificate to prove that one has been educated to secondary school level. This is what we all know as drop outs but according to the duo of rabid liars, a drop out and a bonafide secondary school leaver are one and the same.

They tried towing this line at the court by parading witnesses to testify in court that they attended secondary school with Buhari.

Now why is it so difficult for Buhari to just approach Cambridge to give him at least a statement of result which is what the PDP and Atiku legal team are now demanding from the court to mandate Buhari to provide evidence that he did graduate from secondary school? Because, as I said earlier, Buhari can not approach Cambridge because he has no record of sitting for the WASC exams. If Buhari dares submit the attestation letter issued by WAEC - which is not similar to a statement of result nor certificate, as WAEC does not have any records of exams conducted before 1976 as the organization wasn't in existence back then in 1961), then he opens up himself to further scrutiny. The document becomes public and the PDP legal team or any other 3rd party, can then approach Cambridge to ascertain the document using all available facts concerning Buhari's purported year of sitting for the exam and venue. Cambridge will have no choice but to attend to their inquiries and issue a response within a reasonable time frame.

The fake news on PDP agents storming Cambridge and being attended to by officials there and finding out Buhari did sit and write the exams is all a desperate ploy by Lai to undo his gaffe.

Buhari will be made to prove the only substantive way one can defend attending and graduating from secondary school by submitting either a statement of result or certificate duly issued by Cambridge.

This was why Lai was begging Nigerians to "forgive" Buhari and why he is now spewing fake news of PDP agents visiting Cambridge and returning back disappointed.

The only confirmation left is for you to use your brain. Buhari's WAEC result shows that he has F9 in Mathematics, that should have shown you that the result is authentic, nobody will forge result and give himself F9 in Mathematics which is a compulsory subject. Use your brain for something tangible not just Yahoo Yahoo.

which of the documents are you referring to because There were two conflicting documents which still does not resolve the issue, the two carried different names and different number of subjects sat for, the waec guy could not also confirm the authenticity because he was not the issuing authority

Illiterate, when has Cambridge ever come out to clear the air that Buhari wrote WASC?

Cambridge only said that only the candidate who wrote the exam can apply for another one.

Since Buhari ha never deposited any document that showed he did write WASC but rather using affidavits, Cambridge can never be approached for verification. The only time Cambridge can be approached is when Buhari tenders either a certificate or statement of result that he sat for WASC.

Also, Mr Illiterate, WAEC issued Buhari an attestation document which is merely a document where Buhari claimed to have sat, written and passed. The document comes with a heavy disclaimer from WAEC as WAEC was never the issuing authority of WASC certificates nor custodian of archival records at the time Buhari claimed to have written WASC.

An attestation letter is not the same thing as both a certificate or statement of result.

Buhari was issued that attestation letter based on self recognition as the President and the details of such document was from Buhari's own sworn testimony which he backed with a court affidavit.

The document also comes with a heavy disclaimer from WAEC that the document can not be submitted in place of a duly issued certificate or statement of result.

He did that already at PEPT. Abba Kyari personally went to Cambridge University, London to collect Buhari's attestation letter and this was presented by him went he was called as a witness
