The Presidential candidate of the Labor Party in the 2023 general elections in Nigeria, Mr. Peter Obi who is notoriously known in the media for telling lies such as having just one wrist watch in 10 years (to suggest that he is very prudent) and quoting unreal statistics, earlier today, told his followers on Twitter that Mrs. Ireti Kingibe is the first female to be elected as a Senator in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

However, a quick fact check using Google revealed that one Hajia Khairat Abdulrazaq-Gwadabe from Kwara State was/is the first female to be elected as a Senator in the FCT.

Mr. Obi's supporters who are known to swallow every thing told to them by people they admire hook, line and sinker, did not bother to verify the authenticity of the claim. Rather, most of them commended Mr. Obi for making it possible for a woman to be elected as a Senator in the FCT.

Will Mr. Obi openly admit and apologize to his followers for telling another lie yet again? Or will he ignore his and their integrity as usual?

Don't get it twisted, the matter is Chinedu GRV had made some unpleasant utterances against the yoruba race which singled him out as a bàstard and we Yorubas will never allow such person as a governor in a Yoruba state like Lagos. It's not about where his mom comes from.
