some people with long leg believe ehn... I pity you all who think long leg can cover the national interest, it was boldly written there that applicants for education Corp must present proof of registration with the professional body. Even those in service now and are under education are running up and down to get the certificate. The chairman of that council successfully entered all organization. He sent a memo to them to adhere the new standard and remember that army also partner with ministry of education. Here, not saying if u don't have it, u won't get shortlisted or even enlisted finally, but why not going for what will make u have peace of mind than going for where u lack certain criterion? God will help us all.

I tell you, it really favours NCE, and B.Ed or Bsc.Ed, but nonetheless, you will be at a good chance also with PGDE.

Whether SSC or DSSC.There are measures already in place to sieve out the chaff from the wheat, and remedy the mistakes from last selection, and enlisting.There are lot of check for loopholes this time, I tell you.Ugo4u, and other senior men here who knows can tell you. Your godfather, your passion plus your common sense to do the right thing and God with you, all inclusive or distinctive you will scale through. Don't just rely on godfather alone, put all that needs to be put in place. The game has changed.

If you have a BA without PGDE, and you even don't have a B.Ed, you were not even to apply for DSSC Army Education Corps in the first place. Na wa o...ARMY nor TRCN does not give that kind of consideration you are praying for...These are not dustbin institutions...You don't make it happen that way, not even with magic.

However engineering graduates are expected to be registered with NSE, it is very very simple for now because luckily no exams for 2yrs running now and upon payment of about 3000 naira registration fee you will get your certificate in 3 days unlike b4 were it took almost 4months.

finance Corp is for accountants and finance related..... I don't think PMP is part of the required professional certification requirement for finance Corp rather ICAN and those related to ICAN

TRCN is not as easy to get again...you have to write exam now before you can be awarded TRCN.

I know universities do give TRCN certificate together with degree upon graduation, atleast with what hv seen from people around me. Abi is it college of education you attended?
That being said to get that cert is not a big deal now just submit your Kaya and pay 3k shikenan!.
However, its good you applied tukunna, pending when you sort things out, back it up with prayers. Making the shortlist is the Koko at this point all other things can be sorted out as far as pepper rest.

It's only in Naija dat order from above will have attestation of ssce, went on to be a general, went on to be a head of state and still carried his ssce to be presido for naija (i didn't call name o, dss
& intelligence unit, dis is just a tot and freedom of speech as enshrined in d constitution) but bsc, hnd and msc applicants are been ask to show certification from professional bodies before one can be offered a job, a way of life or call to duty...my question now is, do Oga at d top have any certification from a professional body Why not allow applicants get shortlisted first and ask them to go for certification or professional courses after employment or appointment so that dey will have source of funding to cover such costs....

It's clearly stated that one must have ICAN, ACCA etc.
I don't know if they will be strict with respect to finance corp, to be on a safe side if you're still within the age bracket call support and change to SSC, if you've exceeded the age limit you have no other option than to pray cos I don't know if the board will grant waiver this time. Last year they overlooked many things.
