NORTHERN NIGERIA SHOULD GO AND FACE MECHANIZED AGRICULTURE AND STOP WAITING FOR CRUDE OIL MONEY.

YOU HAVE LARGE EXPANSE OF LAND FOR AGRICULTURE.

Start your cattle ranching, and crop based agriculture and start making money.

The era of waiting for crude oil money is fastly fading out.
So southern states should continue depending on oil money instead of going into massive mechanized farming and the littoral states venture into massive open sea/ocean fishing?

Abeg ooo, which parastatal in kwara has not been paid? Who in kwara never receive salary? Pls enlighten us o. For as far as I know, salaries of August were even paid on the 24th or thereabout. All the about 2000 workers that the former governor Abdulfattah recruited have all been paid till date. Na September salary we dey wait for now. So, pray, tell us, who has not been paid in kwara?

Very strange country. Capital expenditure will be trimmed but the abominable salary/allowance for our Honourables were not trimmed.

As a matter of fiscal emergency CANCEL the <10bn budgeted for the Legislative arm to buy new cars.

If Aso Rock clinic will be is redundant, cancel the 1bn+ budget appropriated to it.

The two presidential aircraft, a Falcon 7X executive jet and Hawker 4000 should be able to fetch us about 8bn.

Cancel all useless/less important programmes and start saving money.

My point is Nigeria can fund her budget 100% locally only if we start sitting down, becoming responsible and damming all consequences and whoever might be hurt.

Nigeria has over 56,000 abandoned projects nationwide (federal and states) valued at N12 trillion by the Chartered Institute of Project Management of Nigeria in 2017, higher than the 11,886 projects valued at N7.78 trillion estimated by a Federal Government panel in 2011 Punch Newspaper, April, 2019). By now, I expect EFCC should be recruiting Quarterly and more correctional facilities been built and make all the wicked leaders vomit the stolen fund

EFCC should go after ALL administrations (present and past) that received the "Paris Fund" and refused to use it for what it should be used for.

Keep borrowing anyhow, by the time China and Co comes for their money and start seizing our assets, our eyes go clear. Though as far as I'm concerned I don't owe anyone a Kobo!

It's not as if Kwara paid salary when they were collecting it. Where were you when it was being stolen?

This has already been well analysed. Nigerians will finally get what they bargained for. When you settle for rubbish, don't complain when you get rubbish.

So, in your own opinion, the looting of the Shagari regime had nothing to do with this your Buhari's recession?

I'll keep saying this, Kwara and Oyo and to an extent Lagos are arguably the biggest winners in the last election!

Good. It’s a way for states to be fiscally responsible and audit the use of the funds. They can go after past administration that embezzled or misused the funds.

Civil servants, expects state to owe salaries. Atleast you don't have to wait for T.B. Joshua to predict that.

Its better they feel the crunch on their ballzz so that next time a governor is misbehaving with a state's money they will take action

i.e stoning ,setting ablaze the government house, attacking his convoy or simply petitioning efcc thousands of petitions a day after protesting at the state assembly nd getting him impeached nd with no immunity.

The only reason why I like this government is that both the rich and the poor are feeling the heat but on a different level. unlike Jonathan regime where the poor re suffering and the rich re smiling. Everyone is taking there portion one way or the other, Direct or indirectly, Nothing like Presidential allies this time, one way or the other you will surely feel the heat, Everyone is healing differently.

suffering multiplied under this govt
