The newly approved salary structure of the Nigeria police force by the FG has been revealed.

Too good to be true

Not bad but could be better considering the high risk to life inherent in their duty lines.

If our legislators had active consciences, they would feel ashamed looking at this Police take-home pay structure compared to what they cart away monthly for dressing up well, sitting lazily in airconditioned enclosure and yelling "aye" and "nay" while spitting saliva into poor microphones.

It won't stop them from collecting bribe and extorting innocent citizens.

The problem is implementation.

Would this stop bribe?

Would it stop their wretched looking dressing?

As dey don upgrade their Salary scale, na so dem go upgrade from collecting white to Awolowo.
