Governor of Osun state, Alh. Gboyega Oyetola, has congratulated the president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari on his victory at the presidential election tribunal.

The Osun state governor tweeted the congratulatory message on his tweeter account, praying that Almighty God that started the journey shall complete the journey with him.

But the baffling aspect of it is that the decision is not yet taken in court. Buhari has not been declared as the winner. The tribunal was presently on a short break which the chief judge said is to enable the panel to refresh when the governor sent the congratulatory message.


"On behalf of the Government of the State of Osun and her people, I congratulate our president, Muhammadu Buhari, on his victory at the Presidential Election Tribunal. Allah that has started this will complete the rest of the journey", the governor tweeted.

Don't abuse the governor. At least he's courageous enough to publicly declare that the Tribunal verdict had already been written in the President's dinning room before today.

Nothing more na. The major grounds that Atiku premised his appeal upon has been quashed. His star witness has been adjudged not credible. There is nothing more to happen.

What's there to congratulate? Atiku lost elections woefully. He had no case at the tribunal and no right thinking person was expecting him to win.

I am scared for my friend now, he works in one of Atiku's establishment and hasn't been paid since July. I don't know what will become of him o.
