Apparently that's what it is. They have made it about tribe.

Last year, the igbo nation rallied around their 'Igbo love story' (Miracle and Nina) played a fast one on everybody as "BBN sweethearts"

Same thing is playing out again with Mercy and Ike, forcing them down people's throats. Other love stories dey the house but they would rather find way to run them down with condemnation.
