no the federal government should have given them this year entire budget so that you can be pleased. ingrate.
You're the fool here rat.

You call that stipend commendable. In a country of wardrobe allowances, and its citizens – reasoning like some knockoff Chinese washing machines undecided Totally not surprised.

Smaller countries pay millions to persuade immigrants off their countries, your bloated dog fart proposition was trader moni

Not surprised anyway. Yoloba molems have no/little ambition.

40k airtime and 10k cash??

Is that not stupidity?

Why not 10k airtime and 40k cash?

This government dey always turn things upside down.

N40k worth of airtime, meaning N40k airtime will be shared amongst all of them, not N40k airtime for each person.

prof2007:
The number of Nigerians that made it back to Nigeria drastically reduced following moves by the South African government to frustrate the evacuation efforts. Only about 187 adults and children were successfully evacuated on Wednesday as against the 320 Nigerians expected back home.

The flight arrived the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, at 9.43pm.

One of the returnees, Uche Victor, told journalists that he left his wife who he said was a Cameronian and a young daughter behind. He said, “I’m bleeding because I left my wife and baby but I have to come back because my mother cries for me to return. If something happens to me she will suffer. I left my business, I came back with nothing. South Africans believe all Nigerians are drug pushers, but I don’t know the colour of any drug.”

Victor, who explained that he left Nigeria for South Africa in 2007, explained that the attacks were anger against the government. “They are only venting their anger on foreigners. They started with black and will move to whites,” he said.

According to him, the flight would have returned earlier but the South African government made it difficult. “The didn’t want us to go but for Nigeria’s consulate,” he added.

Another returnee from Abia State, who gave his name as Onuoha, said a lot of Nigerians were still stranded as they could not return with their properties.

Aliu Saheed, from Osun State, said his shop was burgled and he came back home empty-handed. “But I’m happy to be home, I’m not going back again,” he said.

S’A CANCELS VISAS ISSUED TO RETURNING NIGERIANS
One of our correspondents learnt that the South African authorities went further to cancel visas that were issued to the returning Nigerians. A picture on Facebook showed a Nigerian passport with a cancelled South African visa as of September 10.

The Chairman, Nigerian Diaspora Commission, Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa, said there was 15 hours delay before the flight left South Africa. She had earlier told journalists that the South African authorities brought new immigration rules before the affected Nigerians could be allowed to board the aircraft.

According to Dabiri-Erewa, the Federal Government is giving N40,000 worth of airtime to last them for two months as well as stipend of N10,000 for transport. She also said there were plans for the Bank of Industry to provide some money for the returnees to start small businesses.

Meanwhile, the Chief Operating Officer of Air Peace, Mrs Toyin Olajide, said the evacuation would cost the airline about N300m. Olajide said the cost would include payment of passenger service charge, aeronautical and other charges.

This our Government eh!!! Why not give the returnees the 50k cash instead? Rather than splitting it.

They will still return. I know a guy, 33 year old, told me that coming back to Nigeria to do what exactly. His business was completely burnt but he still prefer to stay as he still has access to decent meal and accommodation.

He is currently staying with his 19 year old South African girl, who works as a desk officer in a top hotel in J'burg.

He confidently told me that more than half of Nigerians would not return to Nigeria but would rebuild their businesses here. Those returning are just taking advantage of the free evacuation provided by the government to touch home.

His girl friend would raise some capital for him to start afresh somewhere in the city again.

This somehow shows the hopelessness back home. Things are really difficult here and breaking even is even more difficult.

That's why some Nigerians would rather die abroad than return to hopelessness and brick future.

FAMILY WICKEDNESS..
Mr and Mrs Joseph's wedding was fantastic, it came out so nicely and many of the attendees confirmed this rumor to be true. "DJ, food, live music and overall atmosphere was heaven like" .
But we received the shock of the century barely two days after the wedding.... Mrs Joe was paralyzed!!!!
My name is Abigail okonkwo and Mrs Joe is my elder sister, on the day of the wedding, her best friend Judith who also happen to be our cousin came into the dressing room with a very expensive perfume, my sister was so happy that she decided to use it on that day. After the wedding and thanksgiving Mrs Joe started complaining of body weakness but we all felt it was because of the ceremony, so we asked here to rest. (Fast forward).
2days later, she was paralyzed!!! Everyone in the family was scared especially her husband( he hasn't even gotten the time to enjoy his wife before everything turned upside down). We got different advice, from one hospital to the other, from on shrine to the other(babalawo). Life became sad within the twinkle of an eye and all I kept wondering was how can a 28 year old girl suddenly develop stroke?.
We went everywhere, we did everything but we somehow forgot God.... So after about 2months, my course mate Evelyn came to visit. Of course. I told her everything, she then invited me to her church, I went there several times and later took my family. After much praying and fasting and believing God for a turn around she started getting better.
Weeks after she recovered, Judith ran mad after confessing. I was amazed because Mrs Joe was not the only one who used the perfume, I did too. So why wasn't I affected? But the answer is simple, it was specifically for Mrs Joe.
PEOPLE CAN BE VERY WICKED. If you must receive gifts on your wedding, then allow GIFTME.GIFT handle all your gifting logistics, that way, you don't personally take your gift.

Your airline has just done. something that will make it one of the best in the globe. Mark my words, I haven't eaten anything this morning and I pray for your company this morning with a deep sense of gratitude for what you have done, you will prosper, whatever decision you need to make to become world leader, God will cause your leadership to take such decisions. You won't regret your decision to help our helpless countrymen. Yes, my direct blood relation may not be there, but I really feel inspired and grateful to your airline.

My take here is that the federal government should help those who want to return but frustrated by the South African government. They said they don't want us why blocking us from going away.

These "angry mobs" sound like white people's henchmen chasing away successful black businessmen and chasing away those with strong political allegiance to black interests.
