Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on his victory at the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal, Igbere TV reports.

Igbere TV had reported that the five-man panel tribunal, Wednesday, upheld Buhari’s re-election, striking out all petitions brought against him by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

Reacting to the development in a tweet sighted by Igbere TV, Mr Gbajabiamila described the victory as a welcome development and beauty of democracy.

“Congrats to President @mbuhari for his victory at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal. The judgement reflects the wishes of Nigerians and is a welcome development. This is the beauty of democracy”, he wrote.

First, it was the Senate.

Now, it is the House of Rep.

I won't be surprised if he gets congratulated by the Judiciary too.

The same Judiciary earlier sacked Akpabio/APC and PDP praised them to the high heavens for a landmark judgement. Just yesterday the Tribunal AGAIN upheld the judgement sacking APC.
