iPopAlomo:If we made top 4 then, it was beacuse there was no wolves, Leicester, Bournemouth, Everton and Tottenham with quality players like we have now ó. We for no make 8th that year. Chu park young as top 9 ![]() I agree the midfield needs to be sorted real quick tho |

kokaneprodigy:I hope he will do well with quality players at his disposal now. With a goal poacher like Auba, a deadly winger like Pepe, a rugged forward like Lacazette and a technical baller in the middle like Torreira ; he has no excuse whatsoever |

iPopAlomo:Only 3 clubs were better than us that year Man u, Chelsea, city spent unlike now that the whole 20 EPL teams are spending heavily |

BlueRayDick:Pepe needs to start performing he dribble way too much. I think the midfield is very obvious xhaka shouldn't start for us again, torreira and Jerry curls/ ceballos then ozil in number 10 to give killer passes ![]() |

sod09:Baba, whether we like it or not we bought pepe beacuse of shakushaku. The same thing we accused all our wingers not doing I was here last season seeing people lament about how we don't have a natural winger. That was why we wanted Zaha, Carrasco and later Everton. We wanted someone to do the take on and pass the ball to the front man and score us goals. Pepe has been doing the takeons, he only needs to improve in his passing game and score goals like modern wingers in the mold of sterling, mane etc do. Shikena! |

Please, the club should do anything in their power to make sure we win this title this term. Read content about FA CUP on https://sportstownfc.com/ and I was very impressed with the great work we have done in the past |

...... Lacazette is out for a month. We will have to depend on Auba all through the period he is out as Nketiah is on loan. Jules will have to step up now.

solomonbrown64:OMG Risking Auba& Laca together hasn't been my thing, Rotate them like Aguero/Jesus across all completions, but Emery fell for fans fantasies.. With Welbeck,Iwobi and Nketiah out, Martineli has to step up. We need LW Jan. |

Fkhalifa:..... Emery really tried not to put both of them on the pitch together but fans kept on with the pressure and pundits didn't help either. Auba is always uncomfortable on the wings and does better through the middle and the same for Laca. But if Laca is benched, fans will start with their conspiracy theories. .... Anyway, it's now clear why he wasn't brought on against Liverpool on time and why he wasn't at his best holdup play against Tottenham. His passes were uncharacteristically off too. Let him take his time to heal as we have a Long season ahead. ... Our front three looks lethal but it's actually unbalanced; a right winger is needed and Nelson isn't doing enough to stake a claim there. If he or Gabriel go the way of Willock, Emery will be forced to bench one of our strikers. I honestly wouldn't want us to get any right winger but if they don't come to the party then we have to. The Man United is actually my worry about Laca's absence, Auba doesn't inspire confidence against the big sides except our noisy neighbors. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by solomonbrown64: 6:27pm On Sep 13, 2019 |
BlueRayDick:..... .... I hear that he was registered as an Arsenal player this season so that he will count as homegrown later on. So that explains why he is there at the training ground, besides if he will get better rehab here, why deprive of him ofthat? 30m investment no be beans bro. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Fkhalifa(m): 12:26am On Sep 14, 2019 |
solomonbrown64:Our fans need to calm the f.down, they want all the big names at once, We are a big footballing side, we should have some on bench for rotation and super sub purpose.. Our strenght lies in CF position,Imagine week 5, injuries have started biting us in that dept, I fear Auba/Laca's battery may run down by Dec. |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Fkhalifa(m): 7:57am On Sep 14, 2019 |
sod09:Fans everywhere, I mean its funny everyone acting like they've got Diploma in football coaching, haven't you seen how anxious they are to see all thier superstars on the picth at the same time irrespective of tactics or individual strength.. It was what happened with Carzola and Ozil, Paying the most expensive ticket to see the team progress or to see celebrity and star players on the pitch? |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by sod09(m): 8:15am On Sep 14, 2019 |
Fkhalifa:bros the earlier you know and understand we can only talk, argue and hope here our opinions doesn't pass here. Now back to lacazette injury, how will you feel when he drop transfer request for not gaining enough game time I mean why will anyone blame the coach for playing all our strong players, what happened to play to your strength. I don't see any faults here, unless you are telling me that if you are a coach you will rather play and cope with Nelson stupidity up front with auba lack of strength and Pepe is the only drive we have to bench lacazette. I read he has been playing with the injury for a long time, not like he can't play tomorrow he just needed to rehab I saw him in training yesterday looking sharp. |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by solomonbrown64: 8:27am On Sep 14, 2019 |
Fkhalifa:..... Honestly, I no just understand our fans jare. By the time we have a solid right winger whether if we buy one or one of the youngsters develop quickly, then Emery will have no choice but do the right thing. He hasn't won anything yet or even achieve Champions league qualification to warrant such changes that will make some fans boil but once he does then they will likely be forced to support his decisions. ... Ozil matter still dey one side. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Fkhalifa(m): 9:34am On Sep 14, 2019 |
sod09:I used to think our voices aren't heard, I'll tell you social media comments get to them there, I'll tell you some; boycotting games at Emirates to chase Pa Wenger,Marque signings like Ozil, Protests, The winger talk, Pepe, Mustafi's axe,Sign a DM Torreira, Start Auba/Laca and many more.. Opinions here and other forum, blogs, site etc go far o,so far it gains Weight.. As for Lacazette, He can start Europa,Fa cup and Carabao games, sub him off around 70 for Auba, Start Auba in league games, sub him off around 70 for Laca, Occasionally, start Auba at RW he is better there, with Laca up front, Also start Laca in big games in the league, with this that's enough playing time and will still keep both fresh, sharp and competitive.. If one or both isn't comfy with that, then I'm sorry they are not bigger than Arsenal, We move on . Its not about playing strong players, its playing them appropriately and to thier strength.. Auba is a 9, develop or buy another player on the LW, it's one of the reasons our games ain't flowing, Strikers and midfielders on the wing makes the game awful.. If I were Emery, I won't play any player out of position, you are either in your position or competiting for your spot, except in case of injuries.. Nelson is supposed to be Iwobi's replacement,so if he can't be trusted then it makes no sense to keep him. Your last paragraph is also my fear,Aubazette starting all games will amount to fatigue And injuries with no quality options from the bench. |

solomonbrown64:The fans are arguably the most powerful in most club footballing side, I read its the reason Kosc left, he knew he'll be among the scapegoat if things didn't go well, He couldn't afford to let his hardwork for the club end with harsh criticism.. Pa Wenger with all efforts was met with fans fire, so who is he? Mustafi,Iwobi and many others ![]() Our fans no get chill, Emery wants the fans love I guess, so he's playing to thier tune. |
