If I was Emery, I'd forget about those two competitions. Use the kids there, let them gain experience. Focus on the league. Apart from City and Liverpool, there is no other team far better than us. So, why bother focusing on other tournaments, especially with our squad.

Kudos to arsenal; they tried today. They showed discipline and were able to soak up all the pressure from Watford and secured a draw. I mean, we all know they are no longer a big side. They are just like Leicester, Wolves, Westham and Everton. Therefore, we can't expect them to win always.

Sokratis and David Luiz were guilty for both of Watford’s goals, as three points were lost from timid decisions and lack of concentration.

Couple of good saves early on to help Arsenal nullify a solid Watford start. He could not have prevented both goals but he still made some saves in the dying minutes to ensure a point. He will be gutted to not have a clean sheet but he should be proud of his display.

Apart from his assist for the first goal, he made a lot of school boy errors and was run ragged by Deulofeu. He has improved defensively but his flaws more than cover his efforts.
