THE WHITE CLOTH KILLER ; SERIAL KILLER ON THE LOOSE? Following the premiere of the Nigeria Block Buster movie OCTOBER 1 , I had to wonder, could we have a live replica of such incident ; a scenario where we have serial killer or say serial rapist on the loose and my answers were simply as no . But after the confirmed murder case of September 13th , its highly unlikely we are dealing with just some random acts of murder. The following are my personal takes and views as a freelance crime story writer what believe might be happening, a detailed review of all five similar cases as published by various blogs and sites and what I could make of the reports are as follows; MURDER CASE ONE: MAUREEN PRECIOUS EWURU, AGE 23 ,PH(1 AUGUST 2019) SHE was said to have MADE RESERVATION at a hotel within the D/LINE PORT HARCOURT on WEDNESDAY 31/07/19 FOUND DEAD ON THURSDAY 01/08/19 . BOTH HANDS AND FEET WERE TIED. CLOTHES WERE FOUND ON THE VICTIM WHITE CLOTH FOUND TIGHTHENED AROUND HER NECK (MODUS OPERANDI/KILLER’S SIGNATURE MARK). VICTIN SKIN COLOR: BLACK MURDER CASE TWO: UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE , POSSIBLY MID TWENTIES,IMO OWERRI ( 4 AUGUST 2019) FOUND DEAD ON SUNDAY 04/08/19 BOTH VICTIM AND KILLER checked into the HOTLE TOGETHER on SATURDAY 03/08/19 NO CLOTHES WERE FOUND ON THE VICTIM WITHNESS REMARKS ‘‘THERE WAS NO NOISE SUGGESTING THAT THEY FOUGHT” BOTH HANDS AND FEET WERE NOT TIED. VICTIM SKIN COLOR: FAIR WHITE CLOTH FOUND TIGHTHENED AROUND HER NECK (MODUS OPERANDI/KILLER’S SIGNATURE MARK). MURDER CASE THREE: JESSICA , MID TWENTIES , LAGOS (09 AUGUST 2019) VICTIM LODGED INTO HOTEL HERSELF ON 09/08/19 CONFIRMED DEAD AT SAME DAY AT 2PM EYE WITHNESS REMARKS “ SAW HER IN THE BAR WITH A YOUNG MAN WHERE THEY HAD DRINKS” POLICE SPOKESMAN REMARKS “ THERE WERE BLOOD STAINS ALL OVER THE PLACE” MURDER CASE FOUR: JENNIFER NWOKOCHA , MID TWENTIES ,PH ( 15 AUGUST 2019) KILLER CAME AT ABOUT 10PM WEDNESDAY 14 KILLER’S REMARK WHEN HE ASKED FOR THE VICTIM “THAT NEAT GIRL” VICTIM SKIN COLOR: FAIR FOUND DEAD 8 AM THURSDAY 15 AGREED TO SLEEP WITH VICTIM FOR 1OKPLUS OPTIONED TO SLEEP WITH HER IN HER ROOM. RELATIVE SAID VICTIM WAS A STAFF IN THE HOTEL HANDS TIED BEHIND HER BACK NO CLOTHES WERE FOUND ON VICTIM MURDER CASE FIVE: UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE , MID TWENTIES , PH (13 SEPTEMBER 2019) VICTIM’S HANDS AND LEGS WERE TIED . VICTIM’S SKIN COLOR: BLACK CLOTHES WERE FOUND ON HER. TIMELINE FOR FIVE MURDERS THE DAYS IN THE BRACKET SUGGEST WITHIN THE TIME OF THE VICTIMS COMING INTO THE HOTEL AND THE TIME THEY WERE OR COULD BE FOUND. 1 AUGUST PH- 4 AUGUST OWERRI- 9 AUGUST LAGOS- 15 AUGUST PH-13 SEPTEMBER PH The first murder happened on august 1st (WEDNESDAY,THURSDAY,FRIDAY) in port Harcourt and in the next three days another report came from owerri ( FRIDAY,SATURDAY,SUNDAY)and five days again we got our third report from lagos (FRIDAY,SATURDAY,SUNDAY) and in four days time we got our fourth in port Harcourt (WEDNESDAY,THURSDAY) and barely a month after (31 days ) we got our fifth murder on 13 september.(WEDNESDAY,THURSDAY,FRIDAY) MY REVIEW When we talk about serial killers , we are looking for patterns , similar attributes or say style by which the murder is been committed . Now if we take a good look at this five cases ( I do not know of how many others out there but from my extensive search I only came up with five as at when I was writing this ) No doubt we have a pattern with the crime scene and the manner of death , however the body position seem to differ in some cases , here is the pattern I have deduce. The murders happen inside a hotel A white rope /cloth is tied around the victims neck ( a possible indication of strangulation ) The victims are in their early or mid twenties. The victims seem or may be sex workers ( no disrespect to the victims ) The murders seem to happen within a single night All five murders may have the connection but the thing is they are not in the same places while three happened within the port harcourt , the other two have happened within two other states , imo and lagos. So this goes to mind , are we dealing with different entities at work and here is what I can come up with , firstly serial killers exhibit more distinct behaviors than just the manner which there victims are found , they have a preferred choice of victims in this case we can say the serial killers goes for young girls as all are in their mid twenties , also serial killers tend to stick with one hunting ground they are not going to jump from one place to another , its too risky and too uncalculated , if a certain area or region works for them they will stick with it but in our case we have two different cases that are outside the state entirely , commentator made a comment about how close its for someone to go from one state to another and that’s true I mean there where days within this murders so I decided to try and find a better way to compare this incident and then I found this; PLEASE MODS KINDLY PUSH TO THE FRONT PAGE, THIS MURDERS DESERVE OUR ATTENTION, THANKS. |

ALL THREE MURDERS WITHIN PH HAVE MORE SIMILARITIES I found out that the legs and hands of the victims within port Harcourt were tied also two of the murders happen within a said street or region there which is D-LINE which are MURDER CASE ONE AND MURDER CASE FOUR again I discovered that MURDER CASE ONE AND FOUR victims all had their killer check into the hotels on a Wednesday night and their bodies were discovered on Thursday , MURDER CASE is debatable as the victim was found on FRIDAY also I again after going through various online publication found something else , MURDER CASE ONE AND MURDER CASE FOUR killer did not make the reservations in the hotel ( in MURDER ONE it was reported the victim was the one who made the reservation herself and in MURDER FOUR reports from eye witness account said the victim said the killer wanted to sleep with her in her own room ) something of remark is the last murder , the victim was the least odd in class as someone said, also not that all three murders happen on a weekend. I then took a look at the other two and found a lot of discrepancies , MURDER CASE TWO AND THREE like IN MURDER CASE THREE where an eye witness reported to have seen the victim and the killer having drinks at the bar that day and in MURDER CASE THREE where the victim fled with the clothes and her belongings and also the report that both killer and victim checked into the hotel . So I asked myself could we be looking at one man who is doing this and honestly I don’t think so ,honestly while I think the killer within PORT HARCOURT can be said to be responsible FOR THE three murders within the state , I don’t think he is responsible for the other two outside the state also the timelines which murder two and three seem out of balance too. CRIME SCENE: WHAT ARE WE REALLY SEEING? The scene is always the same a white cloth knotted around the neck to indicate strangulation but there was one of the cases where they (police ) reported to have not just evidence but signs of blood everywhere and that got me thinking , strangulation is carried out either means of ligation (using an instrument ) or throttling (manual strangulation ) , I have looked at the gore pictures more than I want to just to understand what is there and I have reasons to believe yes while this is STRANGULATION the white cloth we see may not be the weapon used it self , take a good look at the cloth and the victims , I believe the clothes are just symbolic in the sense that strangulation itself is a violent and painful way to die , to have your lungs crushed slowly while one gasps for air is no easy way to go and no matter what there is bound to be an involuntary rush of adrenal to help the victim try and prevent this , the victim is going to scream, cry , claw,kick shake and even break and twist bones to avoid having the life snuffed out of them, I look at the scene , I look at how this people are tied and I cant really see a sign of struggle as indicated in MURDER CASE THREE where blood signs were discovered everywhere ( a good indication our victim may have tried to fight off her attacker) , we have the three murders within port Harcourt where the victims almost seem peaceful and calm like they died in their sleep and this lead me to believe that our PH murderer may be using either some sort of charm or drug to get this people to sleep and then carry out his dastard act either using the pillows or using his bare hands or perhaps the charm itself kills them and then tie them up, I mean have you see how clean those white clothes are ?, surely what has been sued to murder someone will have bodily fluids and skin abrasions on them also the neck is going to show ligation marks of the material that was used to carry out the act . 5 Likes 1 Share

KILLER PROFILLING We are dealing with someone(s) very intelligent and calculated, someone who is patient and take his time to sweep his victims of their feet, calm ,cool and they don’t have anything really out of balance to scare you or give you a warning signal , they know what they are doing , I initially thought stuff like this can only happen in low and sub standard hotels and after taking a look at the hotel involved I believe this is not the case, my guess is this the killer does not book the rooms himself but rather would prefer his victims do that for him in this way he can come into the hotel and find the room and do what he wants and go out ,surely if he is going to book , people might recognize the face or even get him to write one or two details down but that isn’t happening . The killer (s) knows where and which hotel to go , he is not just doing random check in and out , he may go online and check out the hotel or even call and ask enquiries on ground before bringing connecting the hotel to his victims who then go and check in to wait for him which he comes in at night too (less attention is drawn to him by coming late in the night which he prefers to use) Killer(s) know the kind of victim he wants ,possibly communications are established within a week prior to their meeting , my guess he does majority of his communication through online and avoids any possible physical contact with the victim till he is ready for them. Our killer (s) should be in his late twenties or early thirties, serial killers are not what you expect like they are ugly or black or have big heads lol no they are like every other average person you see everyday, you might be surprised he is a married person with family ,friends and a good job when caught which I know he will (the more confident he gets at what he does the less conscious he becomes ; all serial killers usually go this path) . SO WHAT COULD WE BE DELAING WITH IF WE HAVE MULTIPLE KILLERS? I immediately remembered the badoo gang which reigned terror in lagos ,where families were murdered and this is the closest I got to what we could be dealing with and I believe the truth is not far fetched from this , we may dealing with ritual killings here , notice in some of the cases we have where our victims are completely naked which indicates a possible intercourse between the victim and the killer ( whether he sleeps with them before they are dead or not remains debatable ) but I have reasons to believe there might be a case of intercourse for the victims who were found naked, so I believe this are ritual killings. HOW CAN WE FIND THE KILLER(S) DIGITAL FOOT PRINTS In the USA , the investigations starts heavily on the victims and that’s what I would suggest they do (I.e the police ) since the use of DNA tech. is not available here ,data forensics should be used in regards to the victims means of communication , if we have a case where the killer takes away her phone and all that only suggest the killer has information there ,so what do you do as soon as you can identify the victim with the family , retrieve the line and get a sim backup , whatsap has back ups which automatically load upon and I am pretty sure a request for conversations (back up ) on social media channels ( facebook I can recall have a log of your conversation which upon request you can get ) could help expose the digital foot prints of the person , the network providers can also help the police by providing call logs of the victim , eye withness in the case of MURDER FOUR seem to have gotten an idea or could have possibly seen the killer with her friend, a visual description could help too. 8 Likes 1 Share |

HOTEL SECURITY This is going to help a lot faster , not everyone can get a CCTV installed for real but having atleast a registration form for both those checking in ,making reservations could help I mean sure he can keep putting up various lies but somehow he is going to slip up somewhere ,Security guards have to up their game not just sitting around staring at their post as well as the receptionists LOOK FOR: Single male visitors who come at nights 10pm up with partners already booked in the hotel that same dat. TALK TO SOMEONE: To the ladies in port Harcourt , please the little information you can give to a friend or relative about where and who you are going to see can help save you especially those you are seeing for the first time. OBSERVE YOUR NEIGHBORS AND SURROUNDINGS . MY FINAL REMARKS: I believe we are dealing with more than one killers , secondly I believe the white cloth itself may not necessarily be used in the killings but of symbolic purpose and thirdly I believe the killings are ritual oriented rather than the idea of a depraved sexual predator roaming around. 14 Likes |

I also believe these are not the only killings. This is Nigeria where many things get swept under the carpet. For now, these are the "known" victims. There could be many more that are unknown. To track a killer, you need to think like a killer. This is not a case for using "brute force" that the police is known for. Heloct: honestly if I was in PH I would have done a freelance investigation, a serial killer or series of killings well planned are very difficult, the police would need all the help they can get. my hope is that they start comparing the cases immediately to fish out some discrepancies within them. serial killers tend to leave alot more evidences than they want to but to get this evidences you need to think outside the box. also the public should be put on high alert not to terrify or scar them but to keep them on the watch. they should be asked to call In since most of us are usually not so good with going to the station Our police can't just sit around and act as morgue attendants for this killers only on the scene to carry the bodies away it's very disheartening. 1 Like 1 Share |

WriterX:Good Job. I still believe they should arrest all the prostitutes in that state. The police command in Rivers State asked that all hotels in the state should install cctv cameras at strategic points in their business premises. Two killings have been carried out after the announcement by the police. If those hotels where these last two killings in Rivers state occured can't produce the cctv footages of the days the murder occured then the owners or management of the hotels should be jailed for conspiracy and being accomplices with the killer. It would serve as a warning to other hotels . |

I do not agree that serial killers do not go outside their preferred locations. From my observation of other serial murders in the US, most of them leave their state because of work and that allows the opportunity to kill outside their home location, this throws the police off balance (state police system not federal), the only connection to link the incident to their home murders being their MO and victim profile. examples of killer who did this Samuel Little who moved within 3 states - Ohio(Cincinnati & Cleveland), LA and Texas Ted Bundy moved within numerous states from youthful days- Washington,Florida, Utah, Colorado, Idaho, California etc Gary Ridgway- moved to different areas of Washington mostly active in Seattle and Tacoma. some killers are in-discriminatory in regards location but can be extremely discriminatory for their MO and victims vice versa. blowjanet: my assumption on this was based on what I have researched upon in the sense of this 1. if the killer is located in a vast city or region, rather than go to another state it's only sensible to just go to somewhere else within the state , he may even rotate locations. 2. a situation of the both three cases only goes to show these I'd you actually go down with research on those cases that this people had the right settings , jobs and opportunity to travel around hence their ability to kill in various locations infact when we have serial murders in the USA the first set of people they begin to look first is within the environment and secondly travellers who go past the states most of the times truckers are the ones who end up perpetuating the crime because they are able to be on the move. 3.serial killers tend to have a known a preferred dump sites within their safe zone as I call it. 4. serial killers are calculated, they have everything planned out before executing them, their victims, their kill spots, the time, everything is planned, a change in location does not support this easily as that alone makes the situation unpredictable for them. majority and the far most notable cases have the killers in one particular region, they know how to space the days I'm between some even go for months before their next kill but the fact remains majority of the serial killers have and like to stick with a known location ,which they are good with in this case PORT HARCOURT . my conclusion is supported by the similar I could've connect with all three murders within PH. |

Nice work. I want to clarify that there were four found dead in hotels in Port Harcourt, one in Owerri and one in Lagos. Before this last two that happened. List of places with ladies found dead in hotels. Port Harcourt Olu Obasanjo Ebony Road D-Line Woji Road And in Owerri. Also, I suspect two victims found on roads at Port Harcourt, might be the handwork of the same person but workers of the hotels disposed the body. That is Artillery and Aggrey Road. Cybertext: The Jos girl came to my mind but her throat was slit which falls outside the way I feel the killer is doing it. Also, the two I pointed were found in Port Harcourt. However, I feel hotels have also disposed some bodies and should be told to stop it. Also the girls that want to protest at Rumuola Road against a particular hotel should stop because this will make hotel managements dispose bodies with fear of backslashes. Good job, but you're definitely over thinking this. In Nigeria, it is effortlessly easy to book hotels with strangers, especially escorts for a meet. Anybody with the heart or inspired by a sinister purpose can perpetuate this act, without necessarily being a serial killer. Again, it could be a small group of people asked to kill young girls a certain age for whatever reason. I doubt it's one person doing the killing, but I agree that they may all share a common motive. The key to unlocking the mystery is what transpires before their death. Either something is given or something is taken from these girls before their unfortunate demise. 4 Likes |

Seyeblessed: I thought of this too if you read through my work I proposed the idea where the killer finds a hotel and then gets his victim to lodge their so yes infact a big yes to your observations too we may have such evidence just laying around ,a transfer details would infact put a nail to his coffin . 1 Like |
