lets just hope a fit Holding will fix our defensive woe.
Its high time Emery should consider a change in the defence.
Why do i have a feeling that our away misery is still following us?

Our defending was poor beginning from the midfield. It's a no brainer why we lost a two goal lead.

Attack- OK
Midfield - Bad
Defence - Terrible

Emery's game management is really poor. An average manager could have seen off that game after 45mins.
whatever you say, no Emery out form for you.

Chelsea, wolves, crystal palace or Leicester, which one of them is really debatable, cos all four truly looked deserved.

if we can try chambers there, it'll be better. He's (Chambers), have played there on several occasions in his first season at arsenal. The worst thing about AMN is that, you don't even know which one will turn up. And even when the good side turns up, he'll still lose focus once in a while. He needs competition

....... I honestly don't know what's happening to Emery right now, I feel he is lacking options in so many places and not enough cards to change something that's not working. He also tried too hard to fix things yesterday albeit with the wrong tools. He would never have brought in Nelson or started that nonsense formation I couldn't even place yesterday in the first place if Iwobi was still in the team. I said the other day that selling that dude with no proper replacement especially for a team like ours was stupidity but I was tagged a hypocrite by all knowing people here.

... There's no balance on the wings at all and our few Midfielders are tasked to support the full backs leaving massive holes in the Midfield. It doesn't also help that we don't have a proper destroyer there with ball playing skills. We need a Rodri or Fabinho or Partey or whatever his name is as quickly as possible. Pepe barely tracked back yesterday despite the fact that Niles was being given torture that would last him for life. Teams now know that all they have to do is attack our right side, as Niles is not a defender and no one will help him. The other wing too was just as bad, no cover so the midfielders were all over the place forming activity.

.... Pepe has to be spoken to and we have to field in Gabriel or Saka if need be on the left wing, and they must be instructed to track back. Nelson has been awful, completely awful. There has to be balance and a coordination among everyone to press and cover each other. This coordination is not there yet because of egos and a lack of balance currently. Ozil pressed in the first half and couldn't even bother in the second. Nelson will lose the ball and would be seen jogging back like he is Messi or something. I couldn't believe what I saw yesterday; our players just falling down and pushed here and there. I said the other day, this is the worst midfield I have seen at Arsenal since I started following the team. Absolute garbage and the Coach isn't helping matters with that either..

.... The playing from the back is not properly done in my opinion. Passing in the box is too dangerous especially with the new rule; I believe Leno is good enough to distribute to the full backs from his position since sending it over will just give the ball to the opposition as we lack a tall holdup player. I perfectly understand why Emery does it but he is not doing it right especially with how the players are spaced out. I complained about it the other day in one of the training videos.

.... Let's see what he does on Thursday since the man clearly favours Europa League over Premier League, something that might be his undoing. I want to see Chambers and Papa or Luiz, Both Chambers and Luiz can actually use the ball well and Gabriel on the wings with a proper midfield of two 8s and one 6. I will still wait until both our fullbacks are back and till Mid season before passing judgement.

Lets talk about Nicholas Pepe.

Gooners are starting to get impatient with Pepe. We are frustrated and rightfully so. Pepe came to England with impressive numbers albeit from an unimpressive league but numbers nonetheless. He is our club record signing and he has shown flashes of his brilliance. We are a very demanding fanbase (big club mentality?) and that won’t be enough to satisfy our hunger. Results will justify his hype and he hasn’t been getting it.

But before we pull out our pitchforks and condemn him to the stake, we should...

First paragraph, Replacing Iwobi in January is a priority, anything short of that means we'll have a similar season like the last one, Nelson and Willock are not ready yet, especially away at physical and energetic teams like Watford...

Secondly, Xhaka has failed to the Fernandino,Kante and Doucore role, maybe we need to try chambers out against physical sides away from home, Guen,Torreira,Willock will be crushed and bypassed like they are feathers..
Pepe not tracking back and not being deadly on the counter class for concern..

Emery messed up the sub, Guen for Lucas is okay since he's carded, Ozil should have stayed till 80 for willock ..

Well, I'll also like to jump on the bandwagon of Emery out, If any coach who can correct errors from 30 years old experienced internationals has been found. cheesy

i would have preferred Torreira for Pepe to add more numbers to the midfield. Leave Ceb and Ozil till over 80mins.

His substitutions didn’t strengthen us in anyway , it only weakened us TBH. Na permutations him just dey do.

...... Ozil was being bypassed; I saw Auba sprinting past him to defend. This was his first match in a while and we all know he doesn't fare welk against fast paced sides. I was even suprised that he started but then he is barely effective as a sub. Emery was right to take him off but not Ceballos. Guendouzi for Torreira although the latter too was easily brushed aside so no difference but I felt Chambers should have come in for Ozil, so that we had a creator on the field in Ceballos. He pulled off all three creators we had off the field and brought in the wrong players. Everything was off yesterday in the second half.

.... The reason he is putting Xhaka is barely working, maybe Chambers can work there or we will return to a back three when Holding returns. He actually played his best games in a back three and Luiz is better there too and Bellerin too can be a good wingback, although I don't know about Kieran.

... We need a right winger badly. It's a serious issue because I don't want to ever see Auba on the wings again, not for Lacazette, not for anybody. Unto Frankfurt now. I hope things get better because we can't play United like this.

When I told you all that I don't rate Emery... You guys thought I was hating...

Meanwhile... I didn't know he was a choker... But any coach that surrenders a 4-0 nil to concede 6-1 should get a new career...

Look at what I found on Twitter...

Let me explain this picture for the 13737373th time.

- Unai Emery had a 1-goal lead against 10 men.
- The 10 men equalized, then got another red.
- Against 9-men, Unai Emery’s 11 men went from 1-1 to 1-4.
- Then got a late goal to make it 2-4.

Now, look at the players Unai had.

The rest teams Combined have been awarded a total of ten penalties so far this season, which means that the scum have received 40% of all those given this season. When you have a diving merchant like James it's to be expected.

Knowing how weak the midfield had become, all he needed to do was to stuff it with one more player. That's taking off Ozil for Torriera. Then once things stabilise, take of Guendouzi for Nelson to add bite and direction to counter attack. Taking off Ceballos for Willock was suicidal. There was no purpose tactically to that change.

On Thursday, I hope to see Martinelli, SmithRowe, Chambers and full games for Nelson and Willock hoping that more games for the latter duo could make them catch some sense.
