The Nigerian Police Force, NPF, have reacted to a parody Twitter account which disseminates tweets that appear to represent views of the force.

Warning the public against the parody account, NPF tweeted:

Why exactly are d Nigerian Police reacting? D acct clearly states dat it's a parody account so why are dey reacting to? Dey won't react to d rising kidnapping cases and other security challenges but dey are quick to react to a social media account... Are dey Nigerian Police Faux?
