Are you saying that your first son can never inherent you house?
The father has to die first before your first son (or even your first daughter) can inherit your house. It is highly inappropriate to inherit your father's house while he is still alive.

Then you are telling me that your first son shouldn't call ancestry home is house? Don't let envy hurt your son because of your utterances. My house is a house to my child wether death or alive. Mind you Nnamdi kanu is the first son and a prince for that matter, his father is the king Afara ukwu ibeku kingdom

You people are something else, illiteracy mixed with ignorance, spiced with pride.

Your father's house is not your house, it can only be your house after you inherit it either by tradition or civil law. According to the law, your father can will his house to the last born or even non of his children. It's his property. Quit waiting for your father to die to inherit his properties, work hard to build your own. I now see why there is a war anytime a rich man dies in Igboland. The children and brothers fight to the finish to inherit a deceased relative's properties.

Kanu is no crown prince. Succession in Afara Ukwu Ibeku autonomous community is not hereditary. Kanu's father did not inherit the throne from his father. Check up the meaning of crown prince in the dictionary.

Have you seen why I called you a fool? Father can never will his kingdom in Igboland. Is legitimate right of the first son to inherit it and a father can never will his ancestry home because is as well belong to the first son. Please go

I wonder the kinds of schools you guys went to. Where have you ever heard of a king willing his kingdom anywhere the world before you talk of Igboland. Even in England, Queen Elizabeth II cannot will the throne of England to Charles. You guys that never had a monarchy seem not to understand at all how monarchy works. It would have been better the colonialists left you guys with council of elders.

That's only under customary law, whereby the father died interstate and no will was written. If a deceased father writes a will, then the Commonlaw takes precedence over customary law.

Even at that the Supreme Court has invalidated the discriminatory igbo customary law that gives a father's inheritance to only his sons (especially the first son) to the detriment of all other children.

Nigeria: Supreme Court Invalidates Igbo Customary Law Denying Female Descendants the Right to Inherit
(May 6, 2014) On April 14, 2014,

The Nigerian Supreme Court, in a unanimous decision, confirmed decisions of two lower courts, which had found unconstitutional an Igbo customary law of succession excluding female offspring from eligibility to inherit the property of their fathers.

So in effect, if any of kanu's siblings including his sisters challenge his claim to all their fathers inheritance in court, he might not get sole ownership of his father's house he is claiming.

Then Akwa must be in afonjaland and the Ojukwu family is not from Igboland my dear.

Ojukwu’s family in court over property sharing
AWKA—CHILDREN of Sir Louis Odumegwu Ojukwu, the millionaire father of the late Ikemba Nnewi, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu and Ikemba Nnewi’s children were in an Awka High Court, yesterday, over the controversy surrounding the sharing of their late father’s property.

Mr. Ikemefuna Ojukwu and his brother, Mr. Chukwuma Ojukwu, two children of the late Ikemba Nnewi, had instituted the suit in 2014, against their uncles, Dr Joseph Ojukwu, Dr Ike Ojukwu and Mr. Lotanna Ojukwu and their mother, Ambassador. Bianca Ojukwu

The plaintiffs, among other reliefs, were asking the court to declare that they be entitled to 25 per cent of the property in the compound of their father at No. 73, Owerri road, Nnewi and a declaration that they were entitled to 25 per cent shares of their father’s company, Ojukwu Transport Company.

They also sought an order of the court compelling the defendants to account to them the management of late Sir Louis Ojukwu’s property over the years and further asked the court to grant an order that the will of Sir Louis Ojukwu to be resealed.

You are bringing up another different issue here, please don't deviate from the our initial argument. What am telling you is that in Igboland first son is as well the owner of the ancestry home in the village. Anyways you will not understand is because you are not from Igboland.
