Cristiano Ronaldo’s son was shocked when he saw the house where his father lived in Lisbon as a youngster.

The Juventus star took his son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., back to his home he stayed in while he was coming through the ranks at Sporting Lisbon.

“My son turned to me and said: ‘Dad, you really live here?!’” Ronaldo revealed.

Ronaldo’s upbringing was a humble one. It’s a far cry from the life he lives now, with luxury cars and lavish houses the norm.

The 34-year-old opened up more about his childhood in Madeira during an interview with Piers Morgan on ITV.

With little money, Ronaldo would go to the local McDonald’s to beg for burgers.

And he’s now desperate to find Edna, the McDonald’s employee who would slip him leftovers.

“We were a little hungry. We had a McDonald’s next to the stadium, we knocked on the door and asked have you got any burgers,” Ronaldo said.

“There was always Edna and two other girls. I never found them again.

“I asked people in Portugal, they closed the McDonalds, but if this interview can help find them, I would be so happy.

“I want to invite them to Turin or Lisbon to come have dinner with me because I want to give something back.”

We need to find Edna.

A reunion between Ronaldo and the McDonald’s employee who helped feed him would be wonderful.

It wasn’t easy for Ronaldo growing up and he now wants his son to endure some of the hardships that he did.

Although he knows what won’t be easy.

“This generation, they have everything easy,” the former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward added.

“They have computers. They do not have to sacrifice to get what they want.

Nice one from CR7

He never forgets those who helped him in the past,
This is a real moral lesson for us all.
Try as much as possible to give something no matter how small, back to those who stood behind you when things was Tough & Rough

ur inability to keep ur conversation civil without insult is appalling honestly. I don't wanna get back at u with insult. In as much as I really didn't wanna respond to u , I just felt obliged to. Since u wrote me I shld chck out Messi bio. I did n here is what I found;

https://www.biographyonline.net/sport/football/lionel-messi.html

Messi was born to a working-class family. His father was a factory steel worker, and his mother a cleaner.

At the age of 11, Messi was diagnosed with growth hormone deficiency (GHD).

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lionel_Messi

"At age 13, he relocated to Spain to join Barcelona, who agreed to pay for his medical treatment. After a fast progression through Barcelona's youth academy, Messi made his competitive debut aged 17 in October 2004."

So tell me where was Messi's suffering and humble beginning?
He had everything all on the platter (Barca) of gold for him...

So u can't compare Ronaldo beginning who had to be begging for food with that of Messi who Barca had his back since he was 13 years old.
