Money Lending Platforms In Nigeria: Which Should I Partner With? by Kriptune: 10:50am On Sep 19, 2019
Hello. I hope your day is going well.

I've got a business and we are doing fine, but I don't like the idea of money sitting idle in my account and banks just cutting it to pieces with incessant irrelevant charges.

I've decided to invest it in giving loans. The idea of lending to people and having to run around to get your pay back is a no no for me, so I've decided to partner with one of these loan lending platforms.

Now, the problem is; what platform should I partner with, what platform has a high, quick and favorable return percentage?

Plus have any of you or someone close, tried this venture out, is it advisable from your experience?

Your suggestions are highly needed and welcome.

This is an interesting topic as it has to do with we refusing to keep enriching the banks while millions of MSMEs can't even access any of these credit facilities in these big banks. Fintech has come to stay in Nigeria disrupting the ecosystem. Some of Fintechs make noise.in PR without doing much to drive investment.

www.extramileafrica.com, a DFID, Bill & Melinda Gates and EfiNA backed up financial inclusion platform is one that gives 25% ROI per year and 12.5% per year to everyday people like @Kriptune and co that hates banking and keeping their money be idle in banks.

I can recommend this platform as they drive investment into MSMEs to create jobs and redistribute wealth to ordinary Nigerians. Their app is very fast and easy to use. Download Extramile Africa on google playstore and lock up your money for returns.

I'll prefer a system where I can easily opt in and out. Plus for a whole year, feels too long term.

I like to know I'm safe from time to time

I started loaning money far back in my secondary schools days and Immediately I completed my NYSC about 9years ago,I got a bank job where I worked for 4 solid years.
Interestingly, while in the bank,I met a colleague who taught me about the loan business of a thing that was in 2012. After the tutelage,i invested the sum of 300k out of 360k I had saved during my University and post University days, luckily, for me I have been able to rake in good sums of money in this business.
The major factor to consider in this business is risk, I mean evaluate ur potential risk and be close to the business person u want to lend the money and after which,u might allow referral to do the remaining work. I don't have many clients as I write u,but the few they are,the solid and reliable they are.

To be honest with u,I resigned by Bank work about 4 years ago because I needed time to work on the business, however,I succeeded and after about 7 and half years in this business,I have made made close to 30million naira which about 10million is in landed property which I bought three in Abuja and one in my village. I was also able to secure a job back to govt office, for my brother and wife through this lending business.
It might sound so interesting or possibly unreal but that is my story,I did it and today I don't have to rely on my salary any more.
To shock u a bit,I make N1,000,000 (one million naira every month).
If I can do it,u can do better.
And mind u,u don't have to work in the bank before u can become an expert in it.

I had always been lending 50naira to pay 100naira back in my secondary school days which was the only knowledge I had before I was employed in the bank...go ahead with ur plans and don't be discouraged.

U may not need to partner with this people or lenders,I feel u need to take the hard risk yourself by starting with a manageable sum to test how the business is.
Always remember to diversify when the business starts moving fine.

Bye and goodluck.

Good evening sir,

That's an interesting achievement.

Am a young man who is trying to struggle for himself. I ventured into being a Uber driver, initially I was on rental but now I have been able to secure a car on hire purchase. But the car needs to be painted and and do other little repairs. Presently I don't have money to do all that. I don't know if there is any loan facility u can offer me sir. My location is ABUJA

I will be grateful if you could be of help sir. I will repay weekly or monthly as u might require

Will be waiting for your response sir

This is quiet inspiring and motivating Sir..

Money lending is one of the easiest and smartest ways you can make your money work for you while you sleep. I have always told my friends that.

Though the risk is high but to a large extent it could be well managed once you can tidy up your documentation & assessment of a potential customer well. If you lend to People with integrity especially those that wont want any form of harassment, you have your monies recovered back without stress but if otherwise without a collateral, you can have all of your cash/capital liquidated.. That's the reason why microfinance banks and institutions in Nigeria go bankrupt coupled with poor management..

I started money lending while I was 29years back in 2016, was working and being paid about N102k with sack threat. I had no business background or much capital at hand. Neither do I have a good sales nor marketing strategies.. Started with about N40k in my Office common room but telling my colleagues I belong to a cooperative that lends money meanwhile I have just N40K..

That was the starting point. When request/demand became very high, I had to sell my Highlander 04 Model and other properties & added the Cash to my Biz capital...

From then till date, this biz has sustained me, paid my Bills, I later had investors i was paying 60% per annum from 2017 till march 2020.. But i wont dare pay such high dividend ever in my life again..

I now have my money lending Company registered and licensed and progressing...

#####Sir please I would require and appreciate your mentorship as it seems you have more years of experience and have achieved a greater feet.******

Presently my Biz worth/capital is no longer where it was in 2016 despite all the challenges and I can boast of earning 600K+ & above every month..
